Previews for the New York premiere of Latin History for Morons will begin on Friday, February 24 at The Public Theater.

Honor! Madness! Blood! Obie Award-winner Jo Bonney directs the world premiere of an edgy, intense and darkly comic new play by John Pollono (Small Engine Repair, Lost Girls) in a co-production of the Latino Theater Company and The Temblors, a unique new collective of seven Los Angeles-based playwrights. Rules of Seconds opens March 23 at The Los Angeles Theater Center, with low-priced previews beginning March 16.

Just last night, November 14, The Public Theater celebrated opening night of PARTY PEOPLE. Guests included: Former Black Panther Chairman Bobby Seale, and original party member Ericka Huggins, as well as photojournalist and advocate Stephen Shames, along with Public Theater Artistic Director Oskar Eustis, Adriane Lenox, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Eisa Davis, Danny Hoch, Pascale Armand, and Sanjit DeSilva.

Due to artist scheduling conflicts, Arizona Theatre Company has added acclaimed actor/playwright Ruben C. Gonzalez' one-man tour de force La Esquinita, USA to the 2016-17 50th anniversary season and rescheduled Marisela Treviño Orta's The River Bride to 2017-18. La Esquinita, USA will run in Tucson from Jan. 14 to Feb. 4, 2017 and in Phoenix from Feb. 2-26, the same dates as the postponed The River Bride.

Borderlands Theater presents the rolling world premiere of Nogales: Storytellers in Cartel Country by Richard Montoya (American Night, Water & Power) of the acclaimed Chicano performance troupe Culture Clash (Bowl of Beans, Chavez Ravine.) Nogales: Storytellers in Cartel Country traces in reverse the devastating headlines of a Mexican boy shot by US Border Patrol across the border fence. San Francisco theater artist, Sean San Jose, co-founder ofCampo Santo, directs. Nogales: Storytellers in Cartel Country begins with previews September 7th, Opening gala September 9th, and closes September 25th.

The Apollo Theater today announced the appointment of Kamilah Forbes as the Theater's new Executive Producer. A director, producer, and co­founder of Hi­ARTS/Hip Hop Theater Festival, Forbes will join the Apollo in September 2016.

Berkeley Rep announced today it will present the world premiere of John Leguizamo: Latin History for Dummies. Written and performed by Leguizamo and directed by Berkeley Rep's Michael Leibert Artistic Director Tony Taccone, this limited engagement will run Friday, July 1-Sunday, August 14 in the newly renovated Peet's Theatre. The American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University, under the leadership of Diane Paulus, Artistic Director, presents a reading of TRANS SCRIPTS, a groundbreaking new play about transgender identity, written by Paul Lucas, and directed by Jo Bonney, at OBERON tonight, November 23 at 7:30PM.

MCC Theater presents the New York premiere of John Pollono's LOST GIRLS. The production is directed by Jo Bonney who last collaborated with playwright John Pollono on MCC's critically acclaimed production of Small Engine Repair. LOST GIRLS opens tonight, November 9. It is scheduled through November 29, 2015.

On November 16 & 17, Performance Space 122 (PS122) is presenting two special nights of Eric Bogosian's 100 Monologues series to benefit PS122's move next year back into their home in the East Village.

Berkeley Repertory Theatre today announced that Michael Liebert Artistic Director Tony Taccone will direct the upcoming production of Aubergine, by Julia Cho, which is scheduled to have its world premiere performances at the Theatre in February 2016. Liesl Tommy, Berkeley Rep's former associate director, has had to withdraw from the production following the just-announced Broadway transfer of Eclipsed, which Tommy is directing at the Public Theater in New York.

MCC Theater presents the New York premiere of John Pollono's LOST GIRLS. Golden Globe nominated star of stage and screen, Piper Perabo-who recently completed five seasons of the USA's popular drama series 'Covert Affairs' for which she received a Golden Globe Award nomination, and was last seen onstage in the Broadway and MCC Theater productions of Neil LaBute's Reasons to be Pretty-stars alongside Ebon Moss-Bachrach (HBO's 'Girls'), Meghann Fahy (Next to Normal), Tasha Lawrence (Good People, The Whale), and newcomers Lizzy DeClement and Josh Green.

 La MaMa is pleased to announce the world premiere of The Elephant in Every Room I Enter, a strikingly intimate solo work created by Gardiner Comfort and Kel Haney, in which Mr. Comfort shares the challenges of a working actor living with Tourette Syndrome. Directed by Ms. Haney, performances are set to begin on Today, October 15th at 7:30pm at La MaMa - First Floor Theatre (74a East 4th Street - between Bowery and 2nd Avenue). Performances will continue through Saturday, October 31.
