The Outer Critics Circle, the organization of writers covering New York theatre for out-of-town newspapers, national publications and other media beyond Broadway, will welcome Danny Burstein and Jane Krakowski to announce the nominees for the 2016-17 season on Tuesday, April 25th (11AM) in the Oak Room at New York's renowned Algonquin Hotel (59 West 44th Street). The Tony Awards Administration Committee met today for the third time this season and confirmed the eligibility of six Broadway productions for the 2017 American Theatre Wing's Tony Awards®, presented by The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing. The Tony Awards Administration Committee will meet a total of four times throughout the 2016-2017 season to decide the eligibility for the 71st Annual Tony Awards.
Roundabout's THE PRICE Announces Extension

Roundabout Theatre Company has just announced that their currently running production of THE PRICE will be extended for one week past the original closing date. The extension will include the full cast. THE PRICE stars Mark Ruffalo, Tony Shalhoub, Jessica Hecht and Danny DeVito, directed by Steppenwolf Theatre Company co-founder, Terry Kinney. Arthur Miller's The Price opened officially on March 16, 2017. The new closing date for the limited engagement is now May 14.
Colin Farrell May Join Tim Burton's Remake of DUMBO

As previously reported, Tim Burton will direct a live-action adaptation of the 1941 animated classic DUMBO for Walt Disney Studios. Colin Farrell, most recently seen in FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM, is currently in talks to join the film.
