Cabaret show producer Joseph Macchia (who is also a host at the Metropolitan Room) will be staging a second presentation of "Boys Night Out: The Music of the Rat Pack" at the Met Room on August 6 (9:30 pm), which will give him a month to work out the kinks after the show's somewhat shaky opening at the Met Room on June 18.

Neal B., producer of Broadway Sings for Pride & www.NealB.tv, will present an hour long sampling of theatre's talent at the 19th Original GLBT Expo at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. Expect to hear musical selections from Broadway standards to pop hits! The segment entitled Broadway Sings for Pride will feature many Broadway, national tour, and recording artists who support the LGBT community. This will take place at the Video Lounge on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 12:30pm and Sunday, March 18, 2012 at 3:30pm.
BROADWAY BACKWARDS 7 played Broadway's Al Hirschfeld Theatre last night at 8pm. Goodspeed Musicals delves into the sultry and shadowy world of 1940s film noir with their clever production of CITY OF ANGELS. Promising lots of laughs and plenty of jazzy tunes, this witty musical comedy will run through November 27 at the Goodspeed Opera House in East Haddam, Conn. City of Angels is sponsored by Liberty Bank and Connecticut Light & Power.
