STATE OF THE ARTS (SOTA), the critically acclaimed weekly performing arts radio series which previously, since its May 31, 2010 premiere, aired live on Mondays from 4:00 - 4:50 pm PST on the LATalkRadio.com Network, is moving its weekly broadcast to Thursdays beginning Thursday, July 19, 2012, it was announced today by State of the Arts co-producer/co-hosts and theatre professionals MICHAEL STERLING & PAUL STROILI. Guests on July 19 will include TV, Broadway star and Tony Award nominee CHRISTOPHER SIEBER (Shrek The Musical, and co-star with George Hamilton in the U.S. National Tour of La Cage Aux Folles; and Film and Television star ESAI MORALES (La Bamba, NYPD Blue, Caprica - Syfy TV's prequel to the series Battlestar Galactica).

The New York Music Theater Festival can easily be considered a harbor for the freshest talents in musical theater. Over a period of several weeks, an astonishing number of musical productions are presented on vest pocket stages throughout New York City. As is often the case with harbors, there is a confluence of talent feeding into it. Not only is this talent from all over the nation, but it ranges from the youngest to the most experienced and they all converge on the city for this event.

Cabaret Cares is the monthly benefit series that brings together the best of The Broadway and Cabaret community of New York. Created by cabaret producer Joseph Macchia who is also the founder and the president of Help Is On The Way Today a grass roots non for profit organization that helps and assists children and teens living with HIV and AIDS in New York City.

Help Is On The Way Today, founded by 2012 MAC Award Winner Joseph macchia, is a 501c3 charitable organization dedicated to assisting children living with HIV/AIDS. The talent line up has just added the hilarious Christine (S**t Liza Minelli Says) Pedi. Robert Creighton, of the Tony Award winning cast of Anything Goes, will act as auctioneer.

Neal B., producer of Broadway Sings for Pride & www.NealB.tv, will present an hour long sampling of theatre's talent at the 19th Original GLBT Expo at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. Expect to hear musical selections from Broadway standards to pop hits! The segment entitled Broadway Sings for Pride will feature many Broadway, national tour, and recording artists who support the LGBT community. This will take place at the Video Lounge on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 12:30pm and Sunday, March 18, 2012 at 3:30pm.
