Woolwich Works has announced a new circus and cabaret programme for 2026, marking a major new chapter in the South East London venue's artistic development.

Woolwich Works will present a new circus and cabaret programme for its Royal Arsenal venue in South East London, led by programmer Ade Berry, formerly of Jacksons Lane.

Directed by Nicholas Hytner, Lucinda Coxon's new play Alys, Always based on Harriet Lane's novel of the same name is playing at the Bridge Theatre until Saturday 30 March 2019.

Joanne Froggatt (Frances) and Robert Glenister (Lawrence) lead the cast in the world premiere of Lucinda Coxon's Alys, Always and are joined by Danny Ashok (Sid), Joanna David (Charlotte), Leah Gayer (Polly), Simon Manyonda (Oliver),Sylvestra Le Touzel (Mary/Audrey), Jeff Rawle (Robin/Mr Thorpe), Vineeta Rishi (Julia Price), Sue Wallace (Mrs Thorpe) and Sam Woolf (Teddy).

The world premiere of SOHO - a thrill ride of circus, street and theatre performance, re-creating the exciting, edgy and voyeuristic world of London's Soho - created by rock'n'roll global power house Stufish, runs at West End's The Peacock now through Saturday 20 May 2017.
