Featuring a lively cast of dozens, delightful music, gorgeous costumes, and those deliciously spooky ghosts, the Bay Area's favorite holiday tradition returns with American Conservatory Theater's celebrated production of the Charles Dickens classic A Christmas Carol. Now in its 39th year, this version of A Christmas Carol-adapted by Paul Walsh and Carey Perloff-stays true to the heart of Dickens's timeless story of redemption and brings a playful sensibility to his rich language.

Songs from the fabulous 40s hit the stage when the USO heads for the South Pacific. The headline act is the Andrews Sisters, but what happens when they get stuck in quarantine? Luckily, three brothers, who also just happen to have the last name of Andrews, know all the songs! Songs include 'Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy,' 'Slow Boat to China,' 'Ac-Cent-Tchu-Ate the Positive,' and 'Don't Sit Under the Apple Tree' sung like you've never heard them before.

Prospect Theater Company will present a private developmental reading of the original musical The Underclassman on Monday, November 25th at New 42nd Street Studios (229 West 42nd Street, NYC). The Underclassman follows the early life of F. Scott Fitzgerald, from 1914 - 1917. Brilliantly talented, Fitzgerald is swept into the hierarchy of Ivy League society and the antics of the Princeton Triangle Club, in pursuit of the beautiful and elusive debutante Ginevra King - who became the model for the character of Daisy Buchanan in The Great Gatsby.

Prospect Theater Company (Cara Reichel, Producing Artistic Director / Melissa Huber, Managing Director) announces a one-show-only concert reading of their original musical The Flood, on Saturday, October 19th at 3pm. First developed by Prospect in 2000-2001, with a subsequent full production in 2006, the book, music and lyrics of this new musical are by founding company members Peter Mills and Cara Reichel. This special encore concert presentation will raise funds to support Prospect's work developing new musicals by emerging writers. The concert is directed by Cara Reichel and music directed by Daniel Feyer.
