Prospect Theater Company will present a private developmental reading of the original musical The Underclassman on Monday, November 25th at New 42nd Street Studios (229 West 42nd Street, NYC). The Underclassman follows the early life of F. Scott Fitzgerald, from 1914 - 1917. Brilliantly talented, Fitzgerald is swept into the hierarchy of Ivy League society and the antics of the Princeton Triangle Club, in pursuit of the beautiful and elusive debutante Ginevra King - who became the model for the character of Daisy Buchanan in The Great Gatsby.
Prospect Theater Company (Cara Reichel, Producing Artistic Director / Melissa Huber, Managing Director) announces a one-show-only concert reading of their original musical The Flood, on Saturday, October 19th at 3pm. First developed by Prospect in 2000-2001, with a subsequent full production in 2006, the book, music and lyrics of this new musical are by founding company members Peter Mills and Cara Reichel. This special encore concert presentation will raise funds to support Prospect's work developing new musicals by emerging writers. The concert is directed by Cara Reichel and music directed by Daniel Feyer.
