After a tremendous performance with the InterHarmony Festival Orchestra last year, pianist SALEEM ASHKAR will enter the chamber music scene during the InterHarmony International Music Festival in Session II in Italy and Session III in Sulzbach-Rosenberg, Bavaria, Germany. He will join Guy Braunstein (violin) and Misha Quint (cello) for Brahms and Shostakovich trios on July 23 in Acqui Terme, Piedmont, Italy. He will perform in an evening of Brahms Trios with Nikolaj Szeps-Znaider (violin) and Misha Quint (cello) on August 6. The first mixed programme of 2020 from the Royal Ballet sees Cathy Marston's much anticipated and arguably long overdue first work for the main stage at Covent Garden. Renowned for her lucid and atmospheric storytelling, most recently in The Suit (Ballet Black) and Victoria (Northern Ballet), she now turns her attention to an unconventional but heartfelt love story. 

In celebration of Beethoven's 250th anniversary, Chamber Music San Francisco presents world-acclaimed cellist Alisa Weilerstein, along with Israeli pianist Inon Barnatan, performing all five of Beethoven's imaginative Cello Sonatas. Weilerstein is applauded for her impassioned performance style, breathtaking technique, and commitment to new music, while Barnatan is known for balancing expressiveness with astonishing technical abilities.

Nikolaj Szeps-Znaider will be joining InterHarmony International Music Festival's Outstanding Guest Artist Series in Sulzbach-Rosenberg, Germany.

Theatre Royal Bath has announced the appointment of internationally acclaimed and multi-award-winning theatre and opera director Deborah Warner as the new Artistic Director of the Ustinov Studio. Eun Sun Kim has been appointed the Caroline H. Hume Music Director of San Francisco Opera (SFO), effective August 1, 2021. The appointment was announced today by SFO General Director Matthew Shilvock at the War Memorial Opera House.
