Roundabout's HARVEY Begins Final Two Weeks on Broadway, Closes August 5

Roundabout Theatre Company's Broadway production of Mary Chase's Harvey will end its limited engagement on Sunday, August 5th. A special added benefit performance will play on Sunday, August 5th at 7PM. Harvey will have played 32 previews and 62 regular performances at Studio 54 on Broadway (254 West 54th Street).

Roundabout Theatre Company presents the American Premiere of Nick Payne's IF THERE IS I HAVEN'T FOUND IT YET, directed by Michael Longhurst. If There Is I Haven't Found It Yet will feature Annie Funke as "Anna," Michelle Gomez as "Fiona," Jake Gyllenhaal as "Terry" and Brian F. O'Byrne as "George." Tickets for If There Is I Haven't Found It Yet go on sale today, Monday, July 23rd.

Roundabout Theatre Company's production of HARVEY, directed by Scott Ellis, was originally scheduled to play its final performance on Sunday, August 5th at 2PM.

The Amoralists Announce Derek Ahonen Talkback, 7/15

The Amoralists announced today that the group will be presenting a post-show talkback on Sunday, July 15 with playwright Derek Ahonen. Joe Meyers of the Connecticut Post will moderate the discussion, which follows the 2pm performance. The Amoralists are currently presenting the critically acclaimed World Premiere of Ahonen's The Bad and the Better, directed by Obie Award winner Daniel Aukin.

Lincoln Center Theater's 4000 MILES Closes

Lincoln Center Theater (under the direction of Andre Bishop, Artistic Director, and Bernard Gersten, Executive Producer) has announced that it will extend the run of its critically acclaimed production of Amy Herzog's 4000 MILES, directed by Daniel Aukin, for a second time, through Sunday, July 1 at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater (150 West 65 Street). The original run of the production was extended through Sunday, June 17 after 4000 MILES opened to critical acclaim in early April.

David Hyde Pierce, Sigourney Weaver et al. Lead Lincoln Center's VANYA AND SONIA AND MASHA AND SPIKE this Fall

Lincoln Center Theater has announced that Genevieve Angelson, Shalita Grant, Billy Magnussen, Kristine Nielsen, David Hyde Pierce and Sigourney Weaver will be featured in the New York premiere of VANYA AND SONIA AND MASHA AND SPIKE, a new play by Christopher Durang, to be directed by Nicholas Martin, beginning performances Thursday, October 25 and opening Monday, November 12 at the Mitzi E. The LCT3 production of Slowgirl, a new play by Greg Pierce, directed by Anne Kauffman and featuring Željko Ivanek and Sarah Steele, makes its world premiere tonight, June 18, as the first production to be presented by LCT3 in its new home, The Claire Tow Theater, on the roof of Lincoln Center Theater's Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65 Street). Slowgirl will run for six weeks only through Sunday, July 15. All tickets are $20.

Center Theatre Group Artistic Director Michael Ritchie has set the 2012-2013 season at the CTG/Kirk Douglas Theatre in Culver City. In a season of contrasts - of surprising comedy and startling drama, the 2012-2013 season at the Kirk Douglas Theatre will include the magical and mystical hi-jinks of the CTG-commissioned "Elephant Room" by Trey Lyford, Geoff Sobelle and Steve Cuiffo; the acclaimed Gate Theatre Dublin production of the Beckett classic "Krapp's Last Tape" with one of Britain's greatest actors, John Hurt; the comic genius of The Second City with their unique, satirical twist on a Dickens's favorite - "A Christmas Carol: Twist Your Dickens!" written by Peter Gwinn and Bobby Mort; the world premiere of the otherworldly drama "The Nether" by the 2012 Susan Blackburn Smith prize-winning playwright Jennifer Haley; and the world premiere of the powerful boxing drama "The Royale" by Los Angeles playwright Marco Ramirez.

Previews begin tonight (June 4th) at 7 pm for the LCT3 production of Slowgirl, a new play by Greg Pierce, directed by Anne Kauffman and featuring Željko Ivanek and Sarah Steele. This world premiere is the first production to be presented by LCT3 in its new home, The Claire Tow Theater, on the roof of Lincoln Center Theater's Vivian Beaumont Theater (150 West 65 Street).
