Royal Family Productions Presents a Reading of Keenan Scott II's THOUGHTS OF A COLORED MAN

 Royal Family Productions (Chris Henry, Artistic Director) will present a stage reading of Keenan Scott II's Thoughts of a COLORED MAN on a day when the sun set too early,  directed by Chris Henry  as part of its developmental series.  The reading will take place on Saturday, December 3 at 2pm at the Royal Family Performing Arts Space (145 West 46th Street, 3rd Floor). DRAG WEEK and Anthony Rapp Comes to the West End!

The St. James Studio is delighted to announce that its first ever drag week will take place from 1 - 5 November. Three shows from some of the country's most acclaimed drag performers will take to the studio stage: super-group Denim, androgynous signer Jessica Walker and West End star Ian Stroughair as alter ego Velma Celli.

ROCK AND ROLL REFUGEE to Play Royal Family Performing Arts Space

This January, Royal Family Productions (Katie Avebe, Mary Bernardi, Chris Henry and Andy Theodorou, Founders; Michael Perreca, Executive Director) will present the world premiere of Rock and Roll Refugee, written and directed by Chris Henry, music and lyrics by Genya Ravan, with music direction, orchestrations and additional music by Daniel A. Weiss, and choreography by JoAnn M. Hunter and Liz Ramos.

Celebrating 20 years since its first performance off-Broadway, an all-new London production of triple-Tony Award winner Jason Robert Brown's first musical, Songs for a New World is at the St. James Theatre for a strictly limited run of three weeks, directed by Adam Lenson. This special 20th Anniversary production of Songs for a New World features an award-winning cast, including Cynthia Erivo, Jenna Russell, Damian Humbley and Dean-John Wilson, alongside a five piece band.

John Cariani's LOVE / SICK Begins Next Month at Royal Family Performing Arts Space

Almost Maine is one of the countries most produced plays, this February; Royal Family Productions (Katie Avebe, Mary Bernardi, Chris Henry and Andy Theodorou, Founders) will present the New York premiere of John Cariani's follow-up play LOVE / SICK. Directed by Chris Henry and featuring choreography by JoAnn M. Hunter, LOVE / SICK will begin performances on February 6 and open on February 9 through February 26, 2015 at Royal Family's new home in Times Square at Royal Family Performing Arts Space (145 West 46th St.). BOHEMIAN VALENTINE with Michaela Alyse Tomcho, Tracy McDowell and Mateo Moreno, Opens at FringeNYC

First workshopped as a reading through Boomerang Theatre and then at an award winning staged reading at 2013's Planet Connections Festivity, BOHEMIAN VALENTINE makes its World Premiere fully staged premiere at the 2014 New York Fringe Festival. It will be performed at 'Teatro LATEA at the Clemente (107 Suffolk Street).' Performance dates are TODAY, AUGUST 9th - 1pm, TUESDAY AUGUST 12th - 2pm, MONDAY AUGUST 18th - 8:45pm, WEDNESDAY AUGUST 20th - 8:45pm, and THURSDAY AUGUST 21st - 4:45pm. Running time is approximately 90 minutes with no intermission.

RFP to Present OPAL ANN MEETS THE FABULOUS KIT KATT, 3/10-11

Royal Family Productions' Emerging Artist Program will presents a workshop benefit performance of the first 40 minutes of Opal Ann Meets the Fabulous Kit Katt, A play with Musical Fantasies written and directed by Chris Henry, with music and lyrics by Summer Hyde and Daniel A. Weiss and choreography by Liz Ramos. Opal Ann Meets the Fabulous Kit Katt, will be presented at RFP's new Times Square location, The American Globe Theatre (145 W 46 Street) on Opal Ann Meets the Fabulous Kit Katt, and Opal Ann Meets the Fabulous Kit Katt. Performances will take place March 10th at 7PM and March 11th at 5:30PM. Tickets are $25 and can be purchased http://ptix.co/OyCIAc Money raised will benefit RFP's Emerging Artist Program.

Beatles Tribute Concert LET IT BE Ends Broadway Run Today

The Broadway engagement of Let It Be concludes today, Sunday, September 1 at the St. James Theatre (246 West 44th Street) following 46 performances and 9 previews. This Beatles concert experience, since it opened, has played to over 50,000 audience members. LET IT BE began previews Tuesday, July 16th and officially opened Wednesday, July 24th.
