Roundabout Theatre Company will conclude the Off-Broadway premiere of APOLOGIA, byAlexi Kaye Campbell, with direction by Daniel Aukin, on Sunday, December 16.

It was announced today that the Tony Award winning Best Revival will close on Sunday, January 6, 2019. When it closes this production will have played 29 previews and 458 performances.

At an SRO ceremony held at Zion Lutheran Church in Pittsfield, the Board of the Berkshire Theatre Critics Association presented the Berkshire Theatre Awards on the evening of Monday, November 12, 2018. Once On This Island announced today that the Grammy Award-winning artist and Destiny's Child singer Michelle T. Williams will return to Broadway as Erzulie in the Tony Award winning Best Revival starting Friday, November 30. Michelle T. Williams will play the role through Sunday, June 2, 2019.

The world premiere of "Quack" by Eliza Clark will open at Center Theatre Group's Kirk Douglas Theatre on Sunday, October 28 at 6:30 p.m. Directed by Neel Keller, "Quack" is currently in previews and continues through November 18, 2018.

RATTLESTICK PLAYWRIGHTS THEATER announces casting for the New York premieres of LEWISTON and CLARKSTON, two plays written by MacArthur Genius Grant Winner Samuel D. Hunter (The Whale, Bright New Boise, The Few) and directed by his long-term collaborator Davis McCallum.

Here's an odd couple for you. Warm, inviting, trusting Midwesterner Sharon (Linda Powell) and shadowy, cautious, tough-as-nails Robyn (Tasha Lawrence), whose last known residence was The Bronx. One suspects that Sharon, a 50something divorcee could use some extra money and, perhaps, some company. Robyn, also a divorcee and now self-proclaimed lesbian, needs some space from her shady past. Both have varying estranged relationships with their children (voiceovers by Isaac Bloodworth as Sharon's son and Moira Malone as Robyn's daughter).

This week the Berkshire Theatre Critics Association is voting on the final award list in preparation for the Third Annual Berkshire Theatre Awards. Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony to be held on Monday, November 12 at 7 pm at the Zion Lutheran Church, 74 First Street (Route 7) in Pittsfield, MA.

Lily Tomlin, Laverne Cox, and Rashida Jones have been set to host the Renberg Theatre gala opening night of Sell/Buy/Date, Tony Award-winning playwright and performer Sarah Jones' smash hit play. Meryl Streep is Honorary Co-Chair. Following a critically acclaimed, sold out run at the Geffen Playhouse earlier this year, the Los Angeles LGBT Center, Andrew Carlberg, and Foment Productions welcome this return engagement to the Renberg Theatre. The opening is on Sunday, October 14, at 7pm and the engagement will run through November 3.

Rehearsals have begun for the world premiere of "Quack" by Eliza Clark. Directed by Center Theatre Group Associate Artistic Director Neel Keller, the production will begin previews October 21, open October 28 and continue through November 18, 2018, at the Kirk Douglas Theatre.
