Pump Boys and Dinettes, the final production of the 2014 Encores! Off-Center series, stars Jordan Dean, Hunter Foster, Mamie Parris, Randy Redd, Katie Thompson and Lorenzo Wolff. Leading Broadway actors, including Annaleigh Ashford, Phoebe Strole, Lauren Pritchard and Chuck Mead, will perform in the Third Annual "James Moye's Boogie in the Butt Benefit" concert tonight at 7pm at Stage 72. All proceeds from the event will benefit The Foundation for Nutrition and Inflammatory Bowel Diseases in Children (NIBD).
Smoke And Mirrors is folk-rock hero Brett Dennen's latest album due out this October on Atlantic Records. On Friday, August 30, at 8 p.m., Brett will make his Ridgefield Playhouse debut in support of this highly anticipated fifth studio album. Since the release of his self-titled record in 2004, Dennen has amassed an incredibly loyal and musically savvy fan base. Brett has appeared in a variety of major films and television shows including Grey's Anatomy and Parenthood. Special guest is singer/songwriter Broadway star Dan Mills who played country/rock guitar legend Carl Perkins in the Broadway hit Million Dollar Quartet. Brett Dennen's show marks the first in a new Playhouse series where opening acts become the headliners. FROM BROADWAY WITH LOVE: A Benefit Concert for Sandy Hook, which took place on January 28, 2013, at the Palace Theater in Waterbury, Connecticut, will be airing on select public television stations throughout the tri-state area. 'From Broadway With Love' was a concert of healing for the Newtown community where composers, musicians and more than 100 stars of Broadway came together with over 300 students from several Newtown dance groups, the Sandy Hook Elementary School 3rd and 4th grades and the Newtown High School Chamber Choir.

With music direction by Adam Podd, the five-member cast will feature Cole Burden, Van Hughes, David Larsen, Lauren Pritchard and Ali Stroker. The By-Invitation-Only, one performance presentation is set for today, June 13, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. (The reading will not be held at The York Theatre Company.)
