Theater for the New City Presents GRAND THEFT MUSICAL

Theater for the New City, Crystal Field, Executive Director, presents Grand Theft Musical, a world premiere musical based on Robert Sickinger's 1994 musical Platinum Taps, with music composed by John Taylor Thomas.

Laguna Playhouse Artistic Director Ann E. Wareham is thrilled to announce a very special bonus event just in time for Valentines Day, Wendie Malick ("Hot in Cleveland," "Just Shoot Me") and Dan Lauria ("The Wonder Years." "Pitch") starring in LOVE LETTERS by A.R. Gurney.  "I have been wanting to bring Dan and Wendie to our stage ever since I started working here and now we have them together in the perfect show!" says Wareham.  LOVE LETTERS will perform for four performances only, Today, February 2 through Sunday, February 5, 2017 at the Laguna Playhouse, 606 Laguna Canyon Road in Laguna Beach.

Tulis McCall to Reprise ARE YOU SERIOUS? at Cornelia Street Cafe

Cornelia Street Cafe welcomes award-winning writer/performer, Tulis McCall, for three special performances of her one-person show, Are You Serious? - A Woman of a Certain Age Inquires. This funny, poignant and gently in-your-face rumination on arriving at the inevitable and being unprepared will be performed on Sundays, November 6th and 13th at 3:00pm (Doors open at 2pm for drinks and brunch) and Sunday, November 27th at 6:00pm (doors open at 5:45pm for drinks and dinner).

George Street Playhouse Announces Casting for Season-Opening MAMA'S BOY

George Street Playhouse today announced the cast of Rob Urbinati's Mama's Boy, which runs October 18 through November 6 at the New Brunswick theatre. Betsy Aidem (Broadway's All the Way, GSP's God of Carnage) stars as Marguerite Oswald, the headstrong mother of Lee Harvey Oswald, played by Michael Goldsmith (TV's Doctor Who, Gotham). 

Solo Performer Tulis McCall Returns September 19th with ARE YOU SERIOUS?

United Solo welcomes back writer/performer, Tulis McCall, winner of Best Storytelling Script Award from United Solo 2015, to present her latest solo work, Are You Serious? - A Woman of a Certain Age Inquires. This funny, poignant and gently in-your-face rumination on arriving at the inevitable and being unprepared will be performed on Monday, September 19th at 7:30pm at The Studio Theatre @ Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street - just east of Broadway.) Dan Lauria to Headline Private Reading of MEND

 MEND, a New Play by Steven Hillyer and Tim Marback, will have a private reading on Wednesday, May 18th 2016. Dan Lauria (LOMBARDI, A CHRISTMAS STORY) will be joined by April Ortiz (IN THE HEIGHTS), Amy Engelhardt (A COMEDY OF ERAS at ACT), and James Donegan (FORBIDDEN BROADWAY). Marc Tumminelli will direct.

Cast Announced for SEX WITH STRANGERS at George Street Playhouse, 3/8-27

George Street Playhouse today announced the cast of Laura Eason's Sex With Strangers, which runs March 8 through March 27 at the New Brunswick theatre.  Kyle Coffman (Newsies, West Side Story on Broadway) will portray young, brash writer Ethan Kane; JoAnna Rhinehart (TV's Elementary, Damages) will play novelist and teacher Olivia Lago.  The production will be helmed by George Street Playhouse Artistic Director David Saint.
