New Jersey Repertory Company, located at 179 Broadway in Long Branch, has announced the World Premiere of Closure by Richard Dresser for a limited engagement from June 25 through July 19, 2015. 

Currently in previews, DINNER WITH THE BOYS is a new comedy by the beloved actor and writer Dan Lauria (LOMBARDI, 'The Wonder Years' and 'Sullivan & Son') and will open May 4 Off-Broadway at the Acorn Theatre at Theater Row (410 W. 42 St.) in New York City. It is produced by Pat Addiss and Olympus Theatricals. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

Earlier this month at the April Broadway Association luncheon, Brookfield discussed their latest venture Manhattan West, a $4.5-billion master-planned real estate project a block away from Penn Station at Ninth Ave. and 33rd St. In addition, Actor Dan Lauria stopped by to discuss his latest off-Broadway comedy Dinner with the Boys, which opens May 4th at the Acorn Theatre. Dan Lauria, the revered actor and now author of the new play DINNER WITH THE BOYS -- to be given its Off-Broadway debut this spring at the Acorn Theatre on Theater Row (410 W. 42 St.) -- will be recognized for his contributions to television and athletics: on Friday, April 10 he will receive the Distinguished American Award from the New Haven County Chapter of the National Football Foundation in Connecticut, and the beloved television series, THE WONDER YEARS in which Mr. Lauria starred for several years, will be honored with a special award on this week's TV Land Awards. Also on Tuesday, April 14 at noon, Mr. Lauria will be guest speaker before the Broadway Association in Manhattan.

George Street Playhouse and Artistic Director David Saint welcome New Jersey native John Tartaglia, from the original Broadway cast of Avenue Q, as well as TV's Sesame Street and the Emmy Award - nominated Johnny and the Sprites to New Brunswick as the sole cast member of Buyer & Cellar, the fourth production of the New Brunswick theatre's current season. Mr. Tartaglia will take the fictional journey to the fictional version of Barbra Streisand's fictional basement through March 29. Opening night is set for tonight, March 6. Mr. Saint helms the production.

The Whipping Man by Matthew Lopez opens tonight, January 23, 2015 at George Street Playhouse. The production runs through February 15, 2015 Directed by Seret Scott, the cast features Ron Canada, Luke Forbes and Adam Gerber.
