The World Premiere of Jim Henry's suspenseful drama BROTHER OF ALL will have a Champagne Celebration on Thursday, March 27 at the Detroit Repertory Theatre at 8:30 PM. Opening Nights at the Rep are always full of camaraderie and celebration. This one will be no different. Guests are invited to join in a Champagne toast in the elegant lobby gallery of the Theatre after the show with the cast, crew and playwright who is flying in for this special occasion of the premiere of his play.

The Michigan Shakespeare Festival is proud to announce the opening of their 2013/2014 Touring Performances. From November 4, 2013 through May 30, 2014 the MSF tour will perform Macbeth and Romeo & Juliet for high schools, libraries, community organizations, and senior centers throughout Southern Michigan, Northern Indiana and Northern Ohio. Adapted and directed by award-winning MSF Artistic Director Janice L. Blixt, productions run approximately 100 minutes and are available for booking at any time throughout the year. Tickets are $8.00 per?person with a minimum of 150 audience members per show (teachers, chaperones and organizers each receive a complimentary ticket).

From the annals of American horror comes 'Carrie, the Musical,' to be presented by Pierrot Production at Mercer County Community College's Kelsey Theatre this Halloween season. Eight performances will be presented, including two midnight shows. Performances are tonight, Oct. 18 and 25 at 8 p.m., Saturdays, Oct. 19 and 26 at 8 p.m. and midnight; and Sundays, Oct. 20 and 27 at 2 p.m. Kelsey Theatre is located on the college's West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road. A reception with the cast and crew follows the opening night performance tonight, Oct. 18.

The New Theatre Project announces a one week extension to its final performance of Pookie Goes Grenading by JC Lee. Originally scheduled to close of April 28, TNTP has added Friday, May 3, Saturday, May 4, and Sunday, May 5 to the lineup and postponed its special closing night of the show and company celebration to May 5. All shows will be at 8 pm. And due to a huge demand and having to turn people away at the door, buying tickets in advance is highly recommended.
