STAGE TUBE: Audience Members React to WANDERLUST at Stratford Shakespeare Festival

The poems of Robert Service, the famous "Bard of the Yukon," are set to music and used as inspiration in the world premiere of the new musical Wanderlust. A Stratford Shakespeare Festival commission, which is written and directed by Morris Panych with music and orchestration by Marek Norman, Wanderlust began performances June 20, 2012, at the Tom Patterson Theatre. Reunion of Les Miserables Canadian Casts Planned for June 2010

Les Miserables is widely regarded as one of the most popular and successful musicals of all-time. It was the third longest running show on Broadway and has had over 9,500 performances in London's West End. Throughout the years, there have been many successful Canadian Productions of the hit show, and some alumni have come together to attempt to organize a reunion for June 2010 to bring together everyone who was ever part of the Canadian Les Mis family. BWW will be on hand to cover the big event and has also agreed to lend a hand in spreading the word, in the hopes that as many people as possible will be able to attend.

Stratford Shakespeare Festival Announces Additional Casting in Plummer, Kennedy & Therriault Led 2010 Productions

Toronto's The Stratford Shakespeare Festival has revealed revealed additional casting for its 2010 season. The stars include Christopher Plummer, Chilina Kennedy, Juan Chioran, Michael Therriault and Geraint Wyn Davies for the Festival's productions of The Tempest, Evita, Kiss Me Kate, Peter Pan and Do Not Go Gentle. Nikki M. James, who was previously set to star alongside Plummer has withdrawn from the festival due to 'personal reasons.'
