Walnut Street Theatre's 2018-19 Independence Studio on 3 Season continues with the gripping and timely play, OLEANNA. Written by David Mamet and directed by Debi Marcucci, the production begins previews on January 15, opens January 17, and continues through February 17.

The Resident Theatre Company presents 'Lend Me a Tenor', the show that catapulted RTC Founder Kristin McLaughlin Mitchell's directing career when she joined the directing team of the Broadway production. 'Lend Me a Tenor', is a hilarious farce complete with comic mishaps, elaborate costumes, surprising plot twists, slamming doors and mistaken identities.

Tribe of Fools has made a name for itself creating physically daring, smart and heartfelt theatre during the Philadelphia Fringe Festival that tackles the City of Brotherly Love. In the past, they have created work related to the Mummers, the Parking Authority, and more all with a sharp eye on the issues that impact the world today. Their 2018 Philadelphia Fringe Festival World Premiere is no exception. This year the highly physical company is taking on the Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl run and asking, "What makes a fan?" with the World Premiere of Fly Eagles Fly. Add into that mix free entertainment, a picnic under the stars and the Bard and you have this year's edition of Shakespeare in Clark Park (SCP). SCP will showcase Philadelphia's finest actors alongside local student musicians for a glam rock inspired Twelfth Night, directed by Jack Tamburri, which is set to run July 25-29, 2018 in Clark Park in West Philadelphia. The show will wrap up with a special 'Fifth Night Feast' Fundraiser before the show on July 29.

Lantern Theater Company concludes its record-smashing 2017/18 season with the regional premiere of Don't Dress for Dinner by French playwright Marc Camoletti. Lantern Resident Director Kathryn MacMillan will direct a cast that includes some of Philadelphia's finest comedic actors: Chris Anthony, Jessica Bedford, Marc LeVasseur, Lee Minora, Karen Peakes, and William Zielinski. This smart and surprisingly funny portrait of a dysfunctional family is directed by Gay Carducci and runs November 15-December 9. Opening Night is Friday, November 17 at 8 p.m.
