SHOWTIME was honored with eight Golden Globe nominations this morning, the most series nominations for any network (cable or broadcast), tied with premium channel HBO.

Gerard Butler, Woody Harrelson, Rashida Jones, and Sofia Vergara were on hand to announce the nominees for the 2012 Golden Globes Awards this morning. The award ceremony will be held in Beverly Hills on January 15, 2012.

The Ambassador Theatre Group Ltd (ATG), the UK's largest theatre company, with 39 venues in the UK, including 13 in the West End, announced today that it has partnered with Tony Award-winner Jerry Mitchell, the acclaimed director and choreographer, to form Jerry Mitchell Productions. Jerry Mitchell Productions will work to develop, create and produce new productions for ATG theatres in London, New York and around the world. According to a report by Baz Bamigboye for UK Daily Mail, Ugly Betty star America Ferrera, is in talks to star in Neil LaBute's West End production of reasons to be pretty. According to reports from Whatsonstage, Ruthie Henshall will star alongside Alison Steadman, Robert Bathurst, and Hermione Norris in BLITHE SPIRIT which is set to play at Bath's Theatre Royal from November 3-13, the Brighton Theatre Royal from November 16-21, Cambridge's Arts Theatre from November 22-27, the Milton Keynes Theatre from February 14-19 and the Richmond Theatre from February 21-26. The production is then set to play the Apollo Theatre beginning March 2.
