DoSomething.org and VH1 announce Emmy and Golden Globe winner Jane Lynch will return to host their star-studded 'Do Something Awards' telecast on VH1 for a second year. The Do Something Awards will be taped at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles and premiere Thursday, August 18th, 2011 at 9PM EDT.

According to Deadline.com, Cybill Shepherd is set to star in ABC's comedy pilot My Freakin' Family, written by Erica Evinoja. As described by Deadline, the show 'centers on young parents Anna (Ellen Woglom) and Raj (Ravi Patel), whose lives change after they have a baby and the four grandparents with very different cultural backgrounds descend upon their lives.' Shepherd will star as Raj's mom, Nell.
