Food Network's NYC Festival Announces New Program

Food Network New York City Wine & Food Festival presented by Food & Wine founder and director, Lee Brian Schrager, who also serves as the vice president of corporate communications and national events at Southern Wine & Spirits of America, Inc., is pleased to unveil the 2011 Festival program. Taking place September 29 - October 2, 2011 at locations across New York City, the program gets a makeover with a plethora of new events to complement the returning favorites. TOP CHEF MASTERS Brings in 1.25 Million Viewers

Bravo's 'Top Chef Masters' continues to sizzle in the ratings with last night's episode delivering 1.25 million total viewers and 812,000 adults 18-49, up 44 percent (vs. 868,000) and up 43 percent (vs. 566,000) respectively, compared to the previous season, according to Nielsen Media Research. The episode was also up double digits in all key demos compared to last weeks episode, up 18 percent (vs. 1.06 million) and up 19 percent (vs. 680,00), respectively. Bravo's TOP CHEF Reaches Ratings High

After announcing an unprecedented 11 new series and celebrating a star-studded Upfront event, Bravo's 'Top Chef All-Stars' finale cooked up the highest rated episode of the season with 2.77 million total viewers and 1.95 million adults 18-49. Adding a unique element to the show, last night's season eight finale featured live cut-ins from the network's Upfront events in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago. Versus the season seven finale (9/15/10), last night's episode was up 9 percent in adults 18-49 (vs. 1.80 million) and 3 percent in total viewers (vs. 2.70 million). Bravo Announces New Competitors for TOP CHEF MASTERS

Bravo's 'Top Chef Masters' returns with a brand new format and 12 new award-winning chefs hungry to compete for the title of 'Top Chef Master' and win $100,000 for their charity. This season, the masters will no longer be judged on a scale, but in elimination style challenges just as the tried and true format of the original 'Top Chef.' In each episode, money will be at stake, with the winners of every quickfire challenge winning $5,000 and elimination challenges winning $10,000 for their designated charities. As previously announced, celebrity chef Curtis Stone will serve as the newly appointed host of the series along with returning judge and culinary expert, James Oseland, and new series judge, the legendary food critic and author, Ruth Reichl. The third season of 'Top Chef Masters' premieres on Wednesday, April 6 at 11 p.m. ET/PT and will move to its regular time period on April 13 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.

Bravo Announces New Programming for 2011

Coming off of its fifth consecutive best-year-ever across all platforms; ranking as the No. 13 network in primetime among all cable entertainment networks in the coveted adult 18-49 demo and the No. 5 cable network among women 18-34; Bravo Media announced it will increase the network's must watch original programming by an additional 20 percent in 2011. The network successfully expanded to five nights of original primetime programming last November, delivering more breakout stars and ratings juggernauts to the most engaged, upscale and educated audience in cable. Bravo continues to translate buzz into reality with new and inventive competition and docu-series that tap into the network's 'passion groups' of Food, Fashion, Beauty, Design and Pop Culture. The latest series confirmed to premiere include 'Platinum Hit,' 'Rocco's Dinner Party,' 'Million Dollar Decorators' and 'Pregnant in Heels.' The announcements were made today by Frances Berwick, President of Bravo Media.

Miss Michigan USA Crowned 'Miss USA 2010' During Live NBC Telecast

Last night, during one of the year's most watched live television events, a star-studded panel of judges chose Miss Michigan USA, Rima Fakih, as Miss USA 2010. Internationally-renowned chef and current 'Celebrity Apprentice' contestant Curtis Stone and 'Today' show co-host and correspondent Natalie Morales hosted the 59th Annual Miss USA Pageant from Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in one of the world's most electrifying cities, Las Vegas. The comedic mother-daughter duo Joan and Melissa Rivers were on hand providing backstage color commentary.

The 59th-annual competition will be broadcast live from Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 16 (7-9 p.m. ET). The telecast will feature performances by multi-platinum country music superstar Trace Adkins and pop rock band Boys Like Girls (BLG), as well as color commentary by Joan and Melissa Rivers.
