TBS's new competition series King of the Nerds got off to a strong start last night in the network's key demos. The series launch drew more than 1.2 million adults 18-49 in Live + Same Day, with 586,000 adults 18-34. In all, the premiere attracted 2 million total viewers.

NBC's reality competition series 'Fashion Star' will premiere its second season on Friday, March 8, 2013 (8-9 p.m. ET). This season, 13 talented designers from around the country, including a team of two competing together, will vie for the multi-million dollar prize of launching a clothing line in Macy's, Saks Fifth Avenue and Express. As previously announced, celebrity mentors Jessica Simpson, Nicole Richie and John Varvatos return to the show and Louise Roe joins this season as host.

Hosted by actors Robert Carradine and Curtis Armstrong (Revenge of the Nerds), King of the Nerds is the ultimate nerd-off. The series will follow 11 fierce competitors from across the nerd spectrum as they set out to win $100,000 and be crowned the greatest nerd of them all. TBS will pair King of the Nerds on Thursday nights with the network's chart-topping telecasts of The Big Bang Theory.
