The Philly POPS announced its TOPS of the POPS 2019-20 season today, February 14, 2019.

Bay Area Cabaret welcomes celebrated vocalist Catherine Russell in her Venetian Room debut on Sunday, March 24 at 5 p.m. Ms. Russell will perform selections from her acclaimed show, Harlem on My Mind for which her recording won a 2016 Grammy Nomination for Best Jazz Vocal Album. For the first time before a San Francisco audience, Ms. Russell will also perform songs from her highly anticipated March '19 release Alone Together ("Errand Girl for Rhythm", "He May be your Dog, but he's Wearing my Collar", "Is You or is You Ain't my Baby").

The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra invites amateur instrumentalists to join fellow audience members and NJSO musicians in the sixth annual #OrchestraYou at NJPAC in Newark on March 23.

The 'Legally Blonde' 2019 National Tour is coming to New Jersey and will make a stop at the Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre at the Count Basie Center for the Arts on February 21 and 22. Broadwayworld.com had the opportunity to interview Woody Minshew, who plays Emmett Forrest in the show.

Live music's premier hologram production company Eyellusionhas announced that a who's who of ZAPPA fan favorite musicians will support 'The Bizarre World Of Frank Zappa' hologram tour which will make its debut this April in the U.S. The nine U.S. shows kick off Friday, April 19, with seven European shows in May to follow. Additional dates will be announced in the coming months. Tickets for the U.S. shows go on sale Friday, February 15at 10:00 AM (ET) at all major ticketing outlets, with a special VIP pre-sale (details here) launching on Wednesday, February 13.

Music's Biggest Night - the GRAMMYs - is here! Live from STAPLES Center, and hosted by Alicia Keys, the 61st Annual GRAMMY Awards will be broadcast on CBS at 8:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. PT. 

Entering Musical Theater Heritage at Crown Center for BIG BANDS ARE BETTER, is like stepping out of a time machine and into the Copacabana of the 1930s and '40s. The scenery, costumes, and the musical arrangements by Brad Cox take the audience back to when Swing was king, a time known as the Big Band Era and a unique program that should not be missed.

The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra hosts College Night on March 2 at NJPAC in Newark. A special $10 student ticket includes entrance to the Orchestra's 8 pm performance of Beethoven's Fourth Piano Concerto, as well as an exclusive post-concert party in the Prudential Hall lobby.

Billy Idol and Steve Stevens, one of rock's most iconic and enduring duos, will hit the road this March for their first ever tour performing as a duo. The North American tour, titled “Turned On, Tuned In and Unplugged,” begins on March 3 at the Vogue Theatre in Vancouver, and include stops at San Francisco's Palace of Fine Arts, Los Angeles' Theater at The Ace Hotel, New York's Town Hall and more. Bob Weir and Wolf Bros will embark on a 20-date U.S. tour kicking off February 28 inIthaca, NY and running through March 30 in Charleston, SC. The trio, featuring Weir,Don Was and Jay Lane, return to the road following a successful run of sold-out dates in Fall, 2018 that saw them performing the songs of Grateful Dead and more. “This is more fun than a frog in a glass of milk,” Weir says of touring with Wolf Bros, “Don is all over his upright, and Jay needs to somehow be kept in line at times, but it's all falling together nicely.” See below for a complete list of tour dates.
