The 'Alley Theatre @ UH' season begins with Betty Buckley, Hallie Foote, Annalee Jefferies and Veanne Cox in award-winning Texas playwright Horton Foote's The Old Friends, a Southwestern premiere.

Naked Angels and The New School for Drama presented Angels Ajar, a benefit reading of new work by Jon Robin Baitz, Janine Nabers and student Kirit Limperis last night, Nov. 4. All proceeds to benefit the new partnership between Naked Angels and The New School for Drama. All plays were directed by Daniel Aukin. Signature Theatre has announced a third and final one week extension for the World Premiere of Horton Foote's THEOLD FRIENDS, directed by Michael Wilson. The production will now play its final performance on Sunday, October 20. THE OLD FRIENDS opened to critical acclaim on September 12 in The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). Tickets during the extension weeks are $75 each.

Signature Theatre Company's THE OLD FRIENDS cast met the company Broadway's THE TRIP TO BOUNTIFUL after a performance of Bountiful this past weekend.
