NiCori Studios & Productions announces a new installment of the monthly concert series, 'Music at the Mansion", on Sunday, April 29, at 3pm at the Oakeside Bloomfield Cultural Center in Bloomfield, NJ. Performers include Meg Flather, D.C. Anderson and Ilene Angel . The Young Musician Moment will be Kiana Carbone.

NiCori Studios & Productions proudly presents the second New Jersey Cabaret Festival on Saturday, May 5 at 7pm in Fletcher Hall of the The Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Montclair in Montclair, NJ. The New Jersey Cabaret Festival features performers who were born, currently live in or have performed extensively in New Jersey.

The 5th Annual 'Tomatoes Got Talent' Contest celebrating the talents of women-over-40 who are currently not working pros took place on Monday, April 9 at The Triad.  It was hosted by Randie Levine-Miller, who co-produced with Cheryl Benton, the founder and publisher of Thethreetomatoes.com, which sponsors the event. Jimmy Horan music directed what became a real musical happening!

Join NiCori Studios & Productions as they showcase six current students and three Alumni performers on Sunday, April 22 at 2pm at the Triad Theater on West 72nd Street, under the direction of Excellence in Theatre Education Tony Award nominated, Corinna Sowers Adler. It will be an afternoon performance showcasing the young and up and coming talents of some of NiCori Studios & Productions' most promising young singers.

Almost 10 years ago, now Tony and MAC nominated Corinna Sowers Adler made her debut with a highly acclaimed cabaret entitled 'Stories'. On Sunday, April 22, at 4:30pm, she will bring the show concept back to The Triad Theater on West 72nd Street, in a new version entitled 'Second Stories' which features the story song works of some of today's most beloved composers like Jerry Leiber, Mike Stoller, Kurt Weill, Ira Gershwin as well as some lesser known surprises by Phil Hanseroth, Adam Gwon, Meg Flather, Garry Novikoff and many others.

They're all ripe for action as 12 mega-talented finalists vie for the top prize, and the chance to be this year's top tomato, at the 5th Annual "Tomatoes Got Talent" singers contest celebrating the talents of women-over-40 who are currently not working pros.  The juried affair, which takes place at The Triad Theatre, 158 West 72nd Street, on Monday April 9 at 7pm, is hosted by Randie Levine-Miller, who co-produces with Cheryl Benton, the founder and publisher of Thethreetomatoes.com, which sponsors the event.

The actors in the NiCori Teen Performance Ensemble may not have spelled all the words correctly in the Corinna Sowers directed production of the Tony and Drama Desk Award winning musical The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, but they sure got everything else right last night in their performance in Montclair N.J. NiCori Studios and Productions is proud to present the NiCori Teen Performance Ensemble in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee on Friday, January 26 at 6:30pm, Saturday, January 27 at 2pm and 5pm and Sunday, January 28 at 2pm in the theater at the United Way of Montclair, 60 South Fullerton Avenue, Montclair.

During an evening when Mabel Mercer Foundation President and New York Cabaret Convention Producer KT Sullivan devoted a number of opening night spots in the 28th year of the four-day extravaganza (October 16-19 at Rose Hall at Jazz at Lincoln Center) to a younger generation of singers and a few veterans making their Convention debuts, the Grande Dame of Cabaret was the star of the night.

Klea Blackhurst the host of the concluding night of The 28th New York Cabaret Convention likes to remind folks that all roads lead to Ethel Merman . Last night's talent filled finale offered up some of the best vocalists in cabaret and all roads started and ended with Klea & Billy Stritch recreating some of their classic interpretations of the music of Hoagy Carmichael & Richard Whiting.

As previously announced, Feinstein's/54 Below will present the haunting oratorio The Screams of Kitty Genovese in a one-night-only concert presentation. The Today, October 11th, 9:30pm performance will star Sheri Sanders in a role she originated at NYMF more than 10 years ago. She will be joined by Broadway's Lori Brown MIrabal (Show Boat, Bubblin' Brown Sugar) as Frannie.

The Mabel Mercer Foundation has announced that it will implement a special 'Rush' ticket policy for their 2017 Cabaret Convention, to be held at Frederick P. Rose Hall, Jazz at Lincoln Center, from Monday through Thursday, October 16th - 19th.
