This morning, Monday, February 5, 2018 at 10:00am, Second Stage Theater (Carole Rothman, Artistic Director; Casey Reitz, Executive Director) hosted the official lighting ceremony for its new Broadway home, The Hayes Theater (240 West 44th street). Designed by David Rockwell of Rockwell Group, this landmarked, newly renovated venue has become, under Second Stage's ownership, the first Broadway theater dedicated exclusively to living American playwrights.
Tulsa Ballet Returns to New York City This March

Tulsa Ballet, under the artistic direction of Marcello Angelini, will return to The Joyce Theater with a program of works created specifically for the company, including Glass Figures, a world premiere by Resident Choreographer Ma Cong, from March 6-10. Returning to NYC for the first time since 2009, the company will also perform Annabelle Lopez Ochoa's Shibuya Blues and Helen Pickett's Meoal (Among).

Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts at Brooklyn Collegecontinues its 2017-18 season of music, dance, and theatre, reflecting the multicultural diversity of Brooklyn. Performances will be held at Kumble Theater on the downtown Brooklyn campus of LIU, while Brooklyn College's Whitman Theatre undergoes a 12-month closure for structural repairs. In addition, Brooklyn Center will partner with the Weeksville Heritage Center to present their 11thannual National Grid Earth Day Celebration.
