The Tony Award winning production of the new musical Bandstand, directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Andy Blankenbuehler (Hamilton) and featuring music by Richard Oberacker and a book and lyrics by Robert Taylor and Richard Oberacker, will perform on 'Good Morning America' on Tuesday, June 20 in the 8:30am half hour.

The producers of Bandstand have launched 'Band Together-The Broadway Veteran Project,' a sponsorship program allowing United States military veterans access to sponsored tickets to the brand new musical directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner and 2017 Tony Award nominee Andy Blankenbuehler (Hamilton) with music by Richard Oberacker and a book and lyrics by Robert Taylor and Richard Oberacker.

Members of the CW's RIVERDALE cast visited Broadways' BANDSTAND last night and BroadwayWorld was on hand to capture the moment. In attendance were stars Casey Cott, KJ Apa, Marisol Nichols, Lili Reinhart, Madelaine Petsch and Camila Mendes.

Just yesterday, New Dramatists, Tony® Honor recipient and the nation's premier playwright development laboratory, honored 10-time Tony Award®-winning producer Daryl Roth and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Paula Vogel with their 2017 Outstanding Career Achievement Awards at its 68th Annual Spring Luncheon tribute.

The Lortel Awards were distributed in a ceremony at NYU Skirball Center hosted by actor and comedian Taran Killam. The 2017 Tony Award Nominations were announced  this morning, and while a select, talented few will spend the day celebrating their achievements, there are many who fell just short of a nod.

The big day is here! The 71st Annual Tony Award Nominations will be announced today, May 2, from the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center.
