Breaking Glass to Release HOOKED, Max Emerson's LGBT Homeless Youth Focused Feature With Support In Mind

Breaking Glass Pictures has acquired North American rights to writer/director Max Emerson's poignant LGBTQ tale HOOKED. Breaking Glass acquired rights to the film in April in a deal negotiated between Breaking Glass CEO Rich Wolff and Max Emerson on behalf of the Hooked Project. The film will open theatrically in Los Angeles on June 1, followed by a DVD & VOD release on June 5, 2018.

CT Rep to End 2014-15 Season with A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM, 4/23-5/3

Connecticut Repertory Theatre (CRT) will end its 2014-2015 season with the Shakespeare classic A Midsummer Night's Dream at the Harriet S. Jorgensen Theatre between April 23rd and May 3rd. The comedy of mistaken love and magic is sure to delight audiences.

Connecticut Repertory Theatre to Present CLOUD 9, 10/23-11/2

Connecticut Repertory Theatre (CRT) will present Caryl Churchill's Cloud 9 in the Connecticut Repertory Theatre Studio Theatre October 23rd through November 2nd. The play, which during its 1982 Broadway run, 'offer[ed] an evening of uninhibited lunacy', still excites audiences with its confusion of gender roles and exploration of sexual repression versus societal freedom. Cardinal announced that Tony and Emmy Award-winning actress Leslie Uggams would be starring as Rose in Connecticut Repertory Theatre's (CRT) production of GYPSY: A Musical Fable today, July 10-20. This announcement quickly spread through social media circles and the theatre community and set off a firestorm of discussion on message boards and Twitter about casting an African American actress in this iconic role.
