David Hyde Pierce Named Master Teacher for Ten Chimneys Foundation's Lunt-Fontanne Fellowship

On January 27, 2014, Ten Chimneys Foundation announced that Tony and Emmy Award winner David Hyde Pierce will serve as the Master Teacher for the 2014 Lunt-Fontanne Fellowship Program. From July 13-20, ten of the nation's top regional theatre actors will join Mr. Pierce for an intensive weeklong master class and immersion experience at Ten Chimneys, the National Historic Landmark estate of Broadway legends Alfred Lunt and Lynn Fontanne, in Genesee Depot, Wisconsin.

Acclaimed singer/songwriter Jonatha Brooke opens her one-woman show My Mother Has 4 Noses (http://4noses.org) at The Duke on 42nd Street. The new musical play, written and performed by Brooke, and directed by Jeremy B. Cohen, has already played to sold-out houses at The Playwright's Center, Minneapolis, in August; at The Philly Fringe Fest at World Cafe Live, Philadelphia, in September; and again at the Guthrie Theater's Dowling Studio, Minneapolis, in December. Jonatha weaves 10 new songs through her experiences and stories -- the daily theatre of loving and caring for someone with dementia.

All For One Theater Festival (AFO) and Michael Wolk, Executive Director, have announced the exciting line-up of the Third Annual All For One Theatre Festival. The official announcement was made Monday night at a gArden Party at The Courtyard at the Hartley House, with a wine tasting sponsored by a cellar full of noise, included appearances byMike Daisey, Colman Domingo and BD Wong, and special guests including Tom Hewitt and Nilaja Sun. Award-winning solo performer Ben Rimalower presented Eva Price with the Pioneer Award, recognizing individuals and companies who have forged the way for solo theatre. The third annual All For One Theatre Festival will play a limited engagement at Cherry Lane Studio Theater (38 Commerce Street, NY). Performances begin Friday, Oct 11 and continue through Saturday, Nov 9.
