The Bridges of Madison County tour is in full-swing and recently understudies Cole Burden and Trista Moldovan took the stage at KHOU in Houston, Texas to sing the critically acclaimed musical number, 'One Second and a Million Miles.' 

One of the most romantic stories ever written, THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY 2014 Tony Award-winning Best Original Score and Best Orchestrations, makes its North Texas debut at the Music Hall at Fair Park February 2-14, 2016, presented by Dallas Summer Musicals.

The first national tour of THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY opens at the Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre tonight, December 10, 2015, and plays through January 17, 2016. 

The critically acclaimed musical features one of Broadway's most accomplished creative teams with music and lyrics by three-time Tony Award-winning composer JASON ROBERT BROWN (Parade, The Last Five Years), book by Pulitzer Prize-winning writer MARSHA NORMAN (The Secret Garden, The Color Purple, 'night, Mother) and direction by Tony Award-winner BARTLETT SHER (South Pacific, The King & I, The Light in the Piazza), recreated by TYNE RAFAELI (Fiddler on the Roof, The King & I).

The first national tour of THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY opens later this week at the Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre, but you need not wait that long for a sneak peek. THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY, winner of the 2014 Tony Award for Best Original Score and Best Orchestrations, is famously set in Iowa and will launch its national tour at the Des Moines Civic Center November 28 - December 5. Musical Theatre Factory in association with The Chelsea Symphony presented a gala concert event 'Get Yourself Some New Orchestrations,' the launch of an exciting new series which pairs emergent musical theatre writers with Broadway orchestrators to commission stunning new orchestrations of their shows. Full casting has been announced for the first national tour of THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY. Joining the previous announced Elizabeth Stanley (On the Town, Million Dollar Quartet) as Francesca and Andrew Samonsky (The Hunchback of Notre Dame, South Pacific) as Robert are Cullen R. Titmas (The Last Ship, Avenue Q) as Bud, Mary Callanan (Mamma Mia!, Annie) as Marge,  David Hess (Sweeney Todd, Annie Get Your Gun) as Charlie, Dave Thomas Brown (The Legend of Georgia McBride, Heathers) as Michael, Caitlin Houlahan (Parade at Lincoln Center) as Carolyn  and Katie Klaus (The Bridges of Madison County Original Broadway Cast Member,  Bonnie & Clyde) as Marian/Chiara/State Fair Singer. The ensemble comprises Cole Burden (Les Miserables), Caitlyn Caughell (Newsies), Brad Greer (I Am Harvey Milk at Lincoln Center), Lucy Horton (Cats), Amy Linden (Cheer Wars), Trista Moldovan (The Phantom of the Opera), Jessica Sheridan (Sister Act), Matt Stokes (Jesus Christ Superstar), Tom Treadwell (Annie) and Bryan Welnicki (Peter and the Starcatcher). THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY company will soon head into rehearsals in New York in preparation for the tour launch at the Des Moines Civic Center November 28 - December 5.

The Development Wing presented its fourth annual Broadway Under the Stars benefit concert on Saturday, June 6, 2015. The exclusive, one-night-only event was hosted by acclaimed writer/lyricist Jonathan Brielle, Artistic Director of The Development Wing and Vice President of The Johnny Mercer Foundation, and featured musical performances by Broadway's best, including Roz Ryan (Chicago, Ain't Misbehavin'), Cole Burden (Murder Ballad), Brooke Sunny Moriber (The Threepenny Opera), Ken Prymus (Cats, The Wiz), Patricia Noonan (Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice), along with young artists,Jenna Downs, Jake Swain, and more. With Musical Direction by Jeffrey Klitz, Broadway Under the Stars took place on the grounds of the historic Vala Maison, an exquisite country-style estate located in Tewksbury, New Jersey.

There's a full house of sexy talent holding court over at Studio Theatre these days, and it's not limited to the four actors starring in Murder Ballad, an immersive work of theater being given an impressive DC production through June (the show was produced Off Broadway by the Manhattan Theatre Club in 2012). Credit must first be given to Director David Muse, and the creative team that has transformed Stage 4 at Studio's 14th St. venue into what feels remarkably like a rock music club that's been around for decades, and surrounds you with the music and story.
