Color and Light Land on Broadway Tonight in SUNDAY IN THE PARK WITH GEORGE

Ambassador Theatre Group's Broadway revival of the New York City Center production of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's Pulitzer Prize-winning Sunday in the Park with George re-opens the historic Hudson Theatre (139-141 West 44th Street) on Broadway tonight, February 23rd, for a 10-week engagement. Directed by Sarna Lapine, performances will play through Sunday, April 23rd.

Additional casting has been announced for the revival of John Guare's critically acclaimed play Six Degrees Of Separation starring seven-time Emmy Award winner Allison Janney ('Mom,' The Girl on the Train) as Ouisa, Tony Award winner John Benjamin Hickey (The Normal Heart, 'Manhattan') as Flan and Corey Hawkins (Straight Outta Compton, '24: Legacy') as Paul.

In commemoration of the opening of the 41st Broadway theatre, Sunday in the Park with George has announced the show will offer the front row orchestra seats to preview performances (February 11 - February 22) at $41, to celebrate the re-opening of Hudson Theatre as it becomes Broadway's 41st theater.

On a rainy January 19, at 5:30 p.m. on the steps in front of Actors Theatre of Louisville, members of the Louisville theatre community took part in launching a nation-wide initiative entitled The Ghost Light Project. Besides Actors Theatre, there were representatives from other local companies such as Kentucky Shakespeare, Looking for Lilith, The Liminal Playhouse, Theatre [502], the University of Louisville's African American Theatre Program, among others.
