A re-conceived version of the Rodgers & Hart 1940 classic Pal Joey is now running at the Arkansas Repertory Theatre. Opening night is set for Thursday, April 4, 2013.

According to the Chicago Tribune, Cyndi Lauper just wrote a new song for Kinky Boots, which is currently playing in Chicago. 'I Come to the Rescue,' which was featured in the Act 1, has been replaced by a song called 'Step One.' Lauper wrote the song last weekend and it was added to the show on Tuesday night. Additionally, book writer Harvey Fierstein has added 37 new pages to the script since opening night.
