Ronald Rand Celebrates 20 Years Touring As Harold Clurman In LET IT BE ART!

Goodwill Cultural Ambassador Ronald Rand, recently returned from performing at Nairobi's National Theatre in The Kenya International Theater Festival, will celebrate his 20th year of touring, performing his celebrated solo play, LET IT BE ART! in a special performance presented by Tennessee Valley Art Association (TVAA) at The Ritz Theatre's Ritz Studio in Sheffield, Alabama on February 29th.

Pasadena Playhouse Producing Artistic Director Danny Feldman has announced the on -sale of tickets for the Los Angeles premiere of Ann - written by and starring Holland Taylor and directed by Benjamin Endsley Klein from May 27 to June 28, 2020, and a new production of Irving Berlin's Annie Get Your Gun with book by Herbert and Dorothy Fields, directed by Sarna Lapine, from July 28-August 23, 2020.

LOVE'S LABOUR'S LOST Final Three Performances This Weekend At Gene Frankel Theatre

Thomas G. Waites' rocking adaptation of one of Shakespeare's rarely-performed comedies will play its final three performances this weekend. The hippie lovefest of this re-worked Love's Labour's Lost continues at the Gene Frankel Theatre (24 Bond Street, between Lafayette and Bowery) from October 24-26 at 8pm. The production, featuring a cast full of bright young talent, is made possible with the generous support of The Jeff Hunter Charitable Trust. WaterTower Theatre Announces Limited-Engagement Run of GOLDEN BOY

WaterTower Theatre will round out its 2019-2020 season with a special limited-engagement, concert-style production of the inspiring 1960s musical Golden Boy. Adapted from the 1930s drama by Clifford Odets, and featuring a book by Odets and William Gibson, Golden Boy tells the story of Joe Wellington, a young black man trying to rise from the Harlem ghetto as a prizefighter. Wellington, originated on Broadway in 1964 by the iconic Sammy Davis, Jr., is enticed by the boxing world's promise of fame and fortune, but he makes one critical mistake: falling for his manager's white girlfriend, Lorna.

A new dark comedy by Trish Harnetiaux (Tin Cat Shoes, How to Get into Buildings) and directed by Olivia Songer (SEEDS Resident Director, Rough Magic Theatre Company) will play The Imra Sandrey Theatre at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute (115 East 15th Street) on Thursday May 9, Friday May 10, & Saturday May 11.
