Sweet Can Productions presents Mittens and Mistletoe - A Winter Circus Cabaret, an intimate theatrical circus experience and a Bay Area favorite holiday tradition now in its 8th year. Mittens and Mistletoe returns with a new cast, added clowning, spectacular acrobatic circus feats and interactive madcappery that will astonish and inspire the entire family.

After being given a strong response, Cirque du Soleil has added a second performance of the touring show Varekai on Thursday, December 21st at 4:00 pm at the Dr. Pepper Arena in Frisco. Varekai will perform its last seven shows in Frisco from December 20 to 23, 2017 after 15 years of touring.

CHRISTMAS IN HELL, a new musical comedy, will be have an industry presentation (by invitation) on Thursday, December 14th at 12 noon at Urban Stages (259 W 30th St). After thrilling more than 8 million people worldwide, CORTEO will embark on a new journey next March as the same enchanting production but now in arenas, giving more people the opportunity to enjoy a Cirque du Soleil show in their own town. The show will visit Rockford at the BMO Harris Bank Metro Center for a limited run of six performances, from April 5 to 8, 2018.

The Chase Brock Experience, the Brooklyn-based contemporary dance company now celebrating its 10th season, is excited to begin performances for their two-week engagement, tonight, Monday, November 27. The Golden West Winds is part of the United States Air Force Band of the Golden West from Travis Air Force Base, California. Comprised of flute, oboe, clarinet, French horn, and bassoon, this ensemble supports a wide variety of musical events ranging from military ceremonies and patriotic shows to educational programs and recitals of original works for woodwind quintet. To support these events the Golden West Winds plays music of all styles including marches, jazz and classical music.

VOLTA will perform at Meadowlands Racing & Entertainment in East Rutherford, NJ beginning March 29, 2018 and adjacent to the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, NY on Long Island beginning May 17, 2018. VOLTA is written and directed by Bastien Alexandre and with Jean Guibert as the director of creation. International electronic composer and musical director Anthony Gonzalez, brings his space-age future pop sound to the Cirque du Soleil stage for the first time ever. The name VOLTA refers to a sudden about-face, a change in emotion or idea often used in poetry. It also speaks to the jolt of energy delivered through the show.
