Alexandra Burke led the cast of THE BODYGUARD at WEST END LIVE 2014 performing hits from the show, including So Emotional, Run to You and I Wanna Dance with Somebody!

Last night (11 June 2014) the hit West End musical The Bodyguard celebrated Alexandra Burke joining the cast, playing the leading role of Oscar-nominated superstar Rachel Marron. Tonight, Monday 9 September 2013, multi award-winning recording artist Beverley Knight joins the cast of the hit West End musical The Bodyguard in the lead role of Oscar-nominated superstar Rachel Marron. Also joining the cast is Tristan Gemmill who takes on the role of Rachel's bodyguard, Frank Farmer.

Short North Stage opened the regional premiere of the Tony-Award winning 'Passing Strange" last night in the gorgeous Garden Theater. Directed by Mark Clayton Suthers, "Passing Strange", with book and lyrics by Stew, tells the story of a young black musician on his artistic journey of self-discovery from his start in middle-class, South-Central Los Angeles in the late 70's, to the hash bars of Amsterdam, and the post-punk scene of Berlin, where he finds a temporary family in a group of German radicals, and struggles desperately to find his own "artistic soul".
