BRING IT! to Perform at Florida Theatre, 7/29

Miss D and her Dancing Dolls, the stars of Lifetime's hit series "Bring It!," will perform live at the Florida Theatre on Friday, July 29 at 8pm as part of the "Bring It! Live" tour. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 4 at 10am and can be purchased at floridatheatre.com or at the Florida Theatre Box Office by calling 904-355-2787. Ticket prices start at $29.75 (plus applicable service charges) and are subject to change.

LA MIRADA THEATRE FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS & MC COY RIGBY ENTERTAINMENT present the fourth show of their 2015-2016 season, an all-new spectacular DREAMGIRLS, book and lyrics by Tom Eyen, music by Henry Krieger, musical direction by Dennis Castellano and directed & choreographed by Robert Longbottom.  DREAMGIRLS opened on Saturday, March 26 and will run through Sunday, April 17, 2016 at La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts, 14900 La Mirada Blvd in La Mirada.

Rachel Reshef Returning to Feinstein's/54 Below

On Sunday April 3 at 7pm, 15 year old Broadway, film and TV actress Rachel Resheff (most recently a lead in Marvista's soon to be released feature film Annabelle Hooper and the Ghosts of Nantucket, and Larry David's Fish in The Dark), will return to Feinstein's 54 Below with an all new solo show.

The women took the center stage last night at The Ladies Who Sing Sondheim- a gala benefit for Off-Broadway's esteemed Classic Stage Company. The evening was and directed by Tony Award winner John Doyle, who will become the company's new Artistic Director in July.  The evening included performances from Sondheim's canon by Patti LuPone (Gypsy), Victoria Clark (The Light in the Piazza), Cynthia Erivo (The Color Purple), Joaquina Kalukango (The Color Purple), Judy Kuhn (Fun Home, CSC's Passion), Marin Mazzie (Kiss Me, Kate) and Alexandra Silber(Fiddler on the Roof). It was standing room only Tuesday night as hundreds gathered at The Culver Hotel to meet author and filmmaker Leslie Zemeckis for a unique evening of book signing and burlesque. Zemeckis stunned in a silhouette Christopher Kane dress and custom-made KOKIN headpiece as she signed copies of her latest book, "Goddess of Love Incarnate: The Life of Stripteuse Lili St. Cyr," a biography of history's most celebrated burlesque artist.

Breaking News: John Doyle to Direct DEAD POETS SOCIETY Premiere & PACIFIC OVERTURES as Part of Classic Stage's 2016-17 Season

Off-Broadway's acclaimed Classic Stage Company today announced plans for its 2016-17 season, led by incoming Artistic Director John Doyle and Managing Director Jeff Griffin. Doyle, a Tony Award winner for Sweeney Todd and the director of Broadway's highly-praised new production of The Color Purple, assumes the artistic leadership of CSC beginning in July, succeeding Brian Kulick, who has led the company since 2003. For CSC, Doyle has directed Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's Passion and Rodgers & Hammerstein's Allegro, and later this season will direct Henrik Ibsen's Peer Gynt.

Two-time Tony Award winner Patti LuPone has joined the star-studded Broadway roster for The Ladies Who Sing Sondheim, a gala benefit for Off-Broadway's esteemed Classic Stage Company on Monday, March 14 at Alice Tully Hall (1941 Broadway) hosted and directed by Tony Award winner John Doyle, who will become the company's new Artistic Director in July.  In addition to LuPone, the evening will include performances from Sondheim's canon by Victoria Clark (The Light in the Piazza), Cynthia Erivo (The Color Purple), Joaquina Kalukango (The Color Purple), Judy Kuhn (Fun Home, CSC's Passion), Marin Mazzie (Kiss Me, Kate) and Alexandra Silber (Fiddler on the Roof).

Some of Broadway's most talented musical leading ladies will come together in The Ladies Who Sing Sondheim, a gala benefit for Off-Broadway's esteemed Classic Stage Company on Monday, March 14 at Alice Tully Hall (1941 Broadway) helmed by Tony Award winner John Doyle, who will become the company's new Artistic Director in July. The evening will include performances from Sondheim's canon by Victoria Clark (The Light in the Piazza), Cynthia Erivo (The Color Purple), Joaquina Kalukango(The Color Purple), Judy Kuhn (Fun Home, CSC's Passion), Marin Mazzie (Kiss Me, Kate) and Alexandra Silber (Fiddler on the Roof). Additional performers will be announced in the coming weeks.
