Broadway In Chicago has announced "FOR THE RECORD: DEAR JOHN HUGHES," an immersive, concert event showcasing the works of beloved Chicago native John Hughes, will play the Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place (175 E. Chestnut) for a limited engagement March 5 - March 15, 2015.

Classic Stage Company, under the leadership of Artistic Director Brian Kulick, Managing Director Jeff Griffin, and Executive Director Greg Reiner, announced today that its new production of Rodgers & Hammerstein's ALLEGRO, directed by Tony Award-winner and CSC Associate Director John Doyle, now in previews at CSC (136 East 13th Street) will extend its limited engagement through Sunday, December 14. The official opening night of ALLEGRO is Wednesday, November 19. The cast of ALLEGRO features George Abud (Charlie Townsend), Alma Cuervo (Grandma Taylor), Elizabeth A. After a sold-out six month run, "For The Record: Tarantino" returns to West Hollywood for five Thursday night performances. In the previous run, the show attracted thousands of attendees, including director Quentin Tarantino, actors and singers like Bruce Willis, Aaron Paul, Barbra Streisand, James Brolin, Demi Moore, Dylan McDermott, Adam Lambert as well as network, studio and industry executives.
