Producers Rick Ferrari, Donovan Leitch, Christine Russell, Gwyneth Paltrow, Louise Gund, Hunter Arnold and Tom Kirdahy have just announced that Head Over Heels, the new musical featuring the iconic songs of The Go-Go's, the most successful female rock band of all time, will be coming to Broadway during the 2018-2019 Season at a Broadway Theatre to be announced, following an out of town engagement at San Francisco's Curran theater beginning April 24 through May 20, 2018.

Last night at Gotham Hall in New York City, the newly renamed Dramatists Guild Foundation honored patrons of the arts including legendary director and producer Hal Prince; visionary fashion designer Jason Wu President; and, CEO of Shiseido Americas Marc Rey. A developmental lab of Gwyneth Paltrow's new musical HEAD OVER HEELS, inspired by music from the '80s rock group The Go-Go's, will be held in New York City, according to an Equity audition notice.

Broadway fans had plenty of reasons to celebrate this year, with dozens of shows having opened since January, hundreds of actors having made their debuts, and many more having returned to the stage for critically acclaimed performances. Gerald 'Gerry' Goffin, the legendary lyricist who, with songwriting partner (and first wife) Carole King, was responsible for some of the greatest popular hits of the 20th Century, died at his home of natural causes early this morning, Thursday, June 19, 2014. The announcement was made by his wife Michele Goffin.

The highly anticipated new musical, Beautiful - The Carole King Musical, about the early life and career of the legendary and groundbreaking singer/songwriter is currently in previews on Broadway at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (124 West 43rd Street), following a critically acclaimed, sold-out World Premiere in San Francisco.
