On Monday, August 4, 2008 the Friars Club presented DIVA NIGHT! in the Frank Sinatra Dining Room at the Friars Club. The evening was Hosted & Produced by Randie Levine-Miller and starred Christine Andreas, Anna Bergman, Beth Fowler, Alice Frazier, Liz McCartney, Rena Strober, Christianne Tisdale, Deborah Tranelli. Paul Chamlin served as Musical Director for the evening. The theater and cabaret stars performed songs from 'The Broadway Songbook'.

The Laurie Beechman Theatre is very pleased to welcome Broadway's Becca Ayers for a one night only concert that will feature her own music, as well as a special guest appearance from her sister, Heather Ayers. Presented on Monday nights at 8PM is BROADWAY'S RISING STARS on Monday, July 21st and ALL SINGIN' ALL DANCIN' on July 28th .

On the night when baseball's all-stars were blasting dingers into the bleachers of Yankee Stadium, the cast of Scott Siegel's A Night At The Operetta, was having their own home run derby on the stage of Town Hall, knocking melodies by Victor Herbert, Sigmund Romberg and Rudolf Friml out of the park.  And in both cases, the crowd frequently went nuts.

The line-up for the 19th Annual Cabaret Convention has been announced. The convention will be held Oct. 29-Nov. 1 at Jazz at Lincoln Center.

This Thursday, July 17, Barnes & Noble Lincoln Triangle (1972 Broadway at 66th Street, 3rd Floor) will host an afternoon with the critically acclaimed Off Broadway musical Adding Machine. The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. with a special 30 minute suite from the show, featuring the entire cast and band, followed by a cast CD signing. The performance will be hosted by special guest Austin Pendleton. Customers will have the opportunity to purchase the World Premiere PS Classics recording onsite. A NIGHT AT THE OPERETTA on July 14th featured the sounds of Broadway music one rarely gets to hear anymore - Operetta - including music by Sigmund Romberg, Rudolph Friml and Victor Herbert. A NIGHT AT THE OPERETTA featured Alexander Gemignani, Lisa Howard, William Michals, Jennifer Hope Wills, Christine Andreas, Bill Daugherty, Brian Charles Rooney, Karen Murphy, John Easterlin, Jason Graae and Milla Ilieva. The event will begin at 3:00 p.m. and will include a meet and greet with cast members, including Tom Wopat and Harvey Fierstein, an in-store performance from Mr. Wopat, and a cast CD signing.

Xanadu's Tony nominee for Best Actress, Kerry Butler, will appear at the Virgin Megastore Times Square on Wednesday, May 28th, at 5:00 PM, in celebration of her debut solo album FAITH, TRUST & PIXIE DUST, released May 13th on PS Classics.
