On Monday, April 6, Lazar will take to the stage with special guest, JENNY POWERS (Grease, Little Women). She will be the opening Headliner of this year's Orlando Cabaret Festival, playing four fabulous shows!

The Laurie Beechman Theatre is very pleased to announce the continuation of VOICES FROM THE GREAT WHITE WAY, featuring one night only concerts from some of Broadway's leading talents. The series runs March 2 - May 31. Each concert will begin at 7pm. There is a $25 cover charge, as well as a $15 food/beverage minimum. Bay Area Cabaret has announced that it will follow-up last season's resoundingly successful series of 'Perfect Pairings' duet concerts with an illustrious line-up of nationally renowned Broadway and jazz divas. Bay Area Cabaret's fifth season will kick-off on Sunday, November 16 at 7pm with popular Broadway veteran Christine Andreas celebrating the great women of musical theatre at the historic Empire Ballroom of the Sir Francis Drake Hotel.

The 19th Annual Cabaret Convention will be held Oct. 29-Nov. 1 at Jazz at Lincoln Center.

Actress and comedienne Jackie Hoffman announced the upcoming release of JACKIE HOFFMAN: LIVE AT JOE'S PUB, a live recording of her best original savage songs and monologues. PS Classics will release the album on Tuesday, November 11, 2008. The album was recorded live onstage at Joe's Pub, New York's famed, downtown performance space.

Broadway star Jason Danieley, and his band The Frontier Heroes, will be performing songs off her their debut album, JASON DANIELEY AND THE FRONTIER HEROES, as well as signing copies for fans. Tony Nominee Marin Mazzie will be making a special appearance onstage as well as at the signing table.

The Marvelous Wonderettes OriginalCast Recording will be released by PS Classics, the label dedicated to the heritage ofBroadway and American popular song. The recording session will take place on Thursday,September 18. The CD will be produced by Grammy® Award-winning producer Jeffrey Lesserand is slated for release on November 11.
