A staged reading of Christian Duhamel, Greg Hellems, and Ellie Margolis' new musical, Miss Mayor, will be presented tonight, Tuesday, June 21st at 6:30pm as part of the 6th Annual "The Puzzle: Marble's Theatre Festival" at the historic Marble Collegiate Church.

'Musical Speed Dating', an evening featuring the collaborations of the BMI class of 2013-2014, will play The Duplex on Monday, November 10 at 9:30 pm. The concert will showcase the new works of these up-and-coming writers, as performed by an all-star Broadway cast including Charissa Bertels (A Christmas Story), Ali Ewoldt (Les Mis), Arlo Hill (The Phantom of the Opera) and KJ Hippensteel (The Book of Mormon).

Damn Yankees is headed to The 5th Avenue Theatre! This musical comedy is the story of an aging baseball fan who makes a deal with the Devil so his beloved hometown team can beat the Yankees in the race for the pennant. From the songwriting team of The Pajama Game, Damn Yankees is filled with hit songs including "Two Lost Souls" and the sultry favorite, "Whatever Lola Wants, Lola Gets." The Paper Mill Playhouse production will slide into Seattle this April. The creative team includes direction by Mark S. Hoebee (Paper Mill's Producing Artistic Director), music direction by Ben Whiteley, and choreography by Denis Michael Jones.

Scott Fitzgeraldean when The Human Race, Dayton's own professional theatre company, brings The Bard's great comedy to The Loft Theatre beginning January 27. The tale of mistaken identity, misguided romance and miscreants plotting nefarious schemes will be set in 1920s America instead of ancient Illyria.

Today, Village Theatre announced the cast of the season opening production of THE FULL MONTY. The show opens in Issaquah on September 16 and runs through October 24, before moving to Everett and running October 29-November 21. Featuring an array of local talent, Village Theatre's production is directed and choreographed by New York-based Jerry Dixon (Show Boat, 2009).
