The Puzzle Theatre Festival Announces 2016 Lineup

The 6th Annual The Puzzle, a theatre festival at the historic Marble Collegiate Church in New York City, has announced its 2016 line-up which begins Monday, June 20th and runs until Saturday, June 25th.

Staged readings include the plays Harpies Shooting Craps by Rosemary Frisino Toohey, Elvis is Dead by James Hutchison, Grace by Michael Wells-Oakes, Small Talk by David MacGregor, "To the Roof" by Cynthia Faith Arsenault, What are your numbers? by Stanley Toledo, Royalton and 5th by Jay Coughlin, One Weird Sister by Nancy Brewka-Clark, A Dog Dreams by Jeffrey Fischer-Smith, Promise by Emma Ryan, and It All Starts With Everything by Brian Hampton. The festival will also include the musical, Miss Mayor, (based on a conception of Greg Hellems, book by Ellie Margolis, lyrics and music by Christian Duhamel, and additional book by Greg Hellems) and Shadow and Light: A recital of The Hermit Songs, sacred art songs by Samuel Barber with Ashley Johnson and Katherine Troy.

The Puzzle is produced by Brian Hampton with artistic direction by Marya Spring Cordes.

Brian Hampton (Producer) is a published playwright, producer, and actor whose NYC and worldwide credits include The Jungle Fun Room, Gossip, and Checking In. Marya Spring Cordes (Artistic Director) is a performing artist, director, Alexander Technique teacher, and on faculty in the BFA Acting and Musical Theatre programs in Wright State University's Department of Theatre, Dance, and Motion Pictures.
