Ghostlight Records recntly released the PRELUDES Original Cast Recording in digital formats and in stores. Produced by LCT3, Lincoln Center Theater's initiative devoted to producing the work of new artists and engaging new audiences, PRELUDES is a new musical by Dave Malloy, inspired by the music of Sergei Rachmaninoff, developed with and directed by Rachel Chavkin. The album is produced byDean Sharenow. The CD jewel-case package contains a 32-page booklet with full lyrics and production photography. Ghostlight previously released the original cast album of Malloy and Chavkin's musical Natasha, Pierre and the Great Comet of 1812, which is opening on Broadway later this year starring Josh Groban. Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures has just announced that 2015 Pulitzer Prize winner Stephen Adly Guirgis (BETWEEN RIVERSIDE AND CRAZY) will write a new play based on the Oscar®-winning motion picture DOG DAY AFTERNOON.  Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures is developing the play for a Broadway bow to follow their successful production of Oscar® winner William Goldman's adaptation of MISERY starring Bruce Willis and Laurie Metcalf.

PITTSBURGH – Today, the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra announced two upcoming one-night-only concerts — Disney in Concert: Tim Burton's THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS on Wednesday, October 21 at 7:30 p.m. and Celtic Woman: Home for Christmas — the Symphony Tour, on Monday, December 7 at 7:30 p.m.

The Tony-nominated Mirror Repertory Company - whose founders and early supporters include the late actresses Eva Le Gallienne and Geraldine Page along with Paul Newman, Dustin Hoffman and Al Pacino - will present its 10th annual summer season with the Greensboro Arts Alliance in Greensboro, Vermont, with a repertory of 4 plays and musicals in alternating repertory July 23-August 24 , it has been announced by Sabra Jones, the company's artistic director.
