David Almond's enchanting tale takes flight this Christmas at the Young Vic with music composed by world famous electronic duo Pet Shop Boys.

Albert Schultz, General Director of the Young Centre for the Performing Arts, today announced the return of Young Centre Resident Artist Andrew Craig's celebrated concert The Gospel Christmas Project, an awe-inspiring transformation of traditional holiday classics into joyous Gospel masterpieces.

Godspell, one of the biggest off-Broadway and Broadway successes of all time, comes to STEPS in a dazzling new production, directed by acclaimed theatre director, Michael La Fleur (Celine Dion, Disney, Universal).

THE MOST INCREDIBLE THING, a ballet with music by the Pet Shop Boys, will premiere at London's Sadler's Wells on March 22, 2011, whatsonstage.com reports. The ballet, based on Hans Christian Anderson's story, tells of a quest to find 'the most incredible thing' in order to marry a princess, the report says. Javier de Frutos will direct and choreograph, and Ivan Putov will star. The production will run until March 26, and there will be a week of previews before the opening, the report says.

Un-Common Theatre Company's Young Adult Group will hold auditions for the Summer Musical 'The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee' directed by Christa Crewdson of Arlington, Ma with Music Direction by Esther Zabinski of Fall River, Ma and will be performed at The Orpheum Theater, Foxboro, Ma. Auditions will be held by appointment only on Tuesday May 25th, 2010 from 6pm with callbacks at 6pm on Thursday May 27th at the Robinson School, 245 East St, Mansfield, Ma. The Gala performance will include a fun mix of performances, improv, stories and a photo montage celebrating the many shows the theatre company's founders, talented young actors and volunteers have made possible over the past three decades.

The Improv Soup Junior Workout is an 8 session workshop that will be taught by experienced Improv Soup members under the guidance of director Christa Crewdson. It will allow budding improvisers to experience the excitement of being part of an improv troupe. Eligible students must be in grades 7-10.
