PRIDE AND PREJUDICE Sequel Comes to Santa Barbara's Ensemble Theatre Company

Ensemble Theatre Company (ETC) announces their new holiday show, Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley, a creation by Lauren Gunderson and Margot Melcon. Directed by Andrew Barnicle, this regional-theater hit is a sequel to Jane Austen's 'Pride and Prejudice', and reunites its characters to place the bookish middle sister, Mary Bennet, in the limelight. The production will debut today, November 30, and will run until December 17, 2017.

CHRISTMAS BINGO Returns for the Holiday Season

Vicki Quade returns as our favorite bingo playing former nun in the holiday comedy, Christmas Bingo: It's a Ho-Ho-Holy Night, opening Nov. 24 at the Royal George Theater in Chicago for the 2017 holiday season.

Philadelphia Theatre Company Warms Hearts This Holiday Season with Princess Concert and Sing-Along 12/17

Philadelphia Theatre Company welcomes everyone's favorite princesses for a heart-warming afternoon concert for the entire family. During A Dream Is A Wish: Holiday Princess Concert audiences will sing-along with a gathering of princesses from popular movie musicals and television shows in a one day only event, Sunday, December 17 at 3:15pm. Children are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite prince or princess. After the show, there will be a meet-and-greet reception with holiday cookies, apple cider and photo opportunities. The Holiday Princess Concert will take place at Philadelphia Theatre Company at the Suzanne Roberts Theatre (480 S. Broad Street). Note: This production will be a relaxed performance that welcomes children with autism or sensory or emotional sensitivities.

MAKING A NEW AMERICAN NUTCRACKER Documentary to Air on WTTW

Produced by WTTW and the Joffrey Ballet, the documentary Making a New American NUTCRACKER goes behind the scenes to reveal the inspiration for this new Nutcracker and introduces audiences to the creative talents who made it happen. The film is produced by Daniel Andries and narrated by actress Neve Campbell, who was also co-producer, co-writer and star of The Company, Robert Altman's film about the Joffrey Ballet.

BECKY SHAW Extend Run by One Week at Windy City Playhouse

indy City Playhouse's critically acclaimed production of Gina Gionfriddo's Becky Shaw has extended its run one week longer, through December 17. Directed by Jeff Award winner Scott Weinstein, the show opened on September 28 to highly favorable reviews, with Chris Jones of Chicago Tribune calling it wise, complex, and really very moving. Funny, too, and Buzz Center Stage deeming the show funny and provocative.

Master Storyteller Mike Daisey presents TRUMP CARD Follow-up On Presidential Election Anniversary

Master storyteller Mike Daisey returns to Philadelphia Theatre Company with two new monologues that explore the normalization of Trump's administration and the rise and fall of the press. In the follow-up to critical smash The Trump Card, This Is Not Normal (November 9-11th) addresses the fever gripping all of us and how quickly that fever can become fascism. In The End of Journalism (November 10-11th), Daisey explores how journalism as we know it in America has ended, peeling back layers of real and fake news to find the darkly hilarious truth. Daisey's performances are part of PTC's 2017-2018 festival-style theatre season that includes plays, music, comedy and political commentary. Daisey is the third national voice at PTC this fall, following NPR's Bob Garfield and Golden Globe Winner Kathleen Turner. Normal and Journalism will take place at Philadelphia Theatre Company at the Suzanne Roberts Theatre (480 S. Broad Street). Pittsburgh Public Theatre presents THE HUMANS

Pittsburgh Public Theater celebrates Thanksgiving with The Humans, by Scranton, PA native Stephen Karam. The Humans was honored with the 2016 Tony Award for Best Play.
