Anne Shirley is coming to the stage! Royal Family Productions, a Times Square based non-profit theatre company known for its innovative productions and development of new original work, will soon present the the World Premiere of Anne of Green Gables: Part I (January 24-February 11), as well as a workshop presentation of Anne of Green Gables: Part II (January 31 - February 10).

Royal Family Productions (Chris Henry, Artistic Director), a Times Square based non-profit theatre company known for its innovative productions and development of new original work, has announced the complete cast for the workshop presentation of Anne of Green Gables: Part II as well as the the World Premiere of Anne of Green Gables: Part I. Doreen Montalvo (On Your Feet, In the Heights) will be portraying Anne in a workshop presentation of Anne of Green Gables: Part II (January 31 - February 10). She is joined by dancers Mindy Lai (LCT: The King and I) and Erica Misilo. Joining the previously-announced Ali Ewoldt (Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables) in Anne of Green Gables: Part I are dancers Brooke Averi, Nichole Forde, Hannah Hall, Kara Menendez, Stephanie Young, and understudy Juna Shai.

After a successful workshop in 2017, Royal Family Productions announce the World Premiere of Anne of Green Gables: Part Istarring Broadway's Ali Ewoldt (Phantom of the Opera, Les Mis) as Anne.

Which includes a workshop presentation of a new musical by Jessica Wu, entitled YOU, ME, I, WE, after a successful workshop in 2017 RFP will present the World Premiere of a new adaptation by Chris Henry of Anne of Green Gables Part I and Part II in rep, all taking place at Royal Family Performing Arts Space (145 West 46th Street).

Emmy Award winner Don Scardino (A Few Good Men, 30 Rock) will be directing TONY and Drama Desk Award nominated actress Elizabeth A. Davis' (Once, Allegro) developmental production of MY NAME'S NOT INDIAN JOE. Created and conceived by Ms. Davis, the new musical is based on true events and will run July 11th through July 22nd at the Davenport Theatre, 354 West 45th Street.

Montana, the short film from Writer/Director Michael Schwartz (Sunday In The Park With George, Company) will make its World Premiere at The 21st Annual Brooklyn Film Festival Saturday June 9th at Windmill Studios in Brooklyn. The film then competes on June 26th in the Digital Short Series Competition at SeriesFest in Denver, the “Sundance Of Television.” The short film is based on Schwartz's hour-long Sundance Lab finalist pilot of the same name.

WOMEN ON FIRE is written, curated, and directed by Royal Family artistic director Chris Henry from stories told to her by a group of anonymous women, with choreography from Lorna Ventura. The show began performances on May 11 and extended twice due to popular demand and critical and industry acclaim. WOMEN ON FIRE: will now run through June 8, 2018 at Royal Family Performing Arts Space (145 West 46th Street, 3rd Floor). WE WERE AN ISLAND, a film directed by Peter Logue and written by Jahn Sood, is currently in pre-production and set to shoot in June 2018.
