Also coming as part of the Haverland Carter Broadway in New Mexico series are Finding Neverland, The Sound of Music, Kinky Boots, and the newly-restaged Cats. RENT 20THANNIVERSARY TOUR will also tour to Popejoy as a Broadway Extra.

This season we are delighted to welcome old friends and new talents to the Poway stage," says Poway OnStage President and CEO Michael Rennie.  "Returning Poway OnStage alum include perennial Poway favorites and equal opportunity offenders The Capitol Steps, guitar masters the Romeros; and celebrity talents from Dancing with the Stars and American Idol performing the all-new Motown with a Twist."

Without doubt, excessive exaggeration or hyperbole, Nashville is a veritable 'city of dreams,' a place where creativity thrives and collaboration is a way of life. Perhaps in no other way is this synergy expressed more artfully than in Nashville Ballet's Attitude series - playing through Valentine's Day at TPAC's James K. Polk Theatre - which captures the very essence of Music City, encapsulating it in the music of local songwriters and then translating it for an audience via the ephemeral nature of dance.

Bouncers remains a timeless piece and one of John Godber's most popular plays. The current tour presented by the John Godber Company and Theatre Royal Wakefield is playing its penultimate venue this week in Birmingham. The show has been extensively performed across the country so one would presume it would be difficult to keep the text fresh. However, a bouncer's recollection of a regular evening at work is as valid now as it was thirty years ago when it was written.

Featured dancemakers include Afro-modern hip-hop artist Kenna Cottman, eclectic James Sewell Ballet company member Chris Hannon, SAGE award winner Judith Howard and movement maverick Patrick Corbin, long time leading dancer with Paul Taylor and now artistic director of CorbinDances which is celebrating its 5th anniversary. The performance will also feature a new solo work by James Sewell.
