The Hive Theatre Company is pleased to present The Hive Exposed Series; staged readings of new and underexposed plays.

MAC Award nominated songwriter Drew Fornarola (COLLEGE The Musical) and Broadway's Marshall Pailet (writer - 'On a Glorious Day;' Fringe's upcoming JURASSIC PARQ: The Broadway Musical) team up to rock the Laurie Beechman Theatre on Wednesday, June 23 at 9:30pm, joined by some of Broadway's top young talent. Fornarola and Pailet will present selections from their shows, as well as debuting a set of songs from their first full-length collaboration, SUPER CLAUDIO BROS.: A Videogame Musical, which will have its world premiere this summer in Washington, DC (commissioned and produced by the New Musical Development Foundation, executive producer Charlie Fink). The evening will be directed by Scott Elmegreen with music direction by Zak Sandler.

The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts presents a concert featuring the music of Tommy Newman May 24. Performing in the concert will be Alison Briner, Melissa Wolfkain, Chris Critelli and James Moye. The concert is apart of the NYPL's Songbook series and is directed by John Znidarsic.

Broadway veteran James Moye will headline 'The Songbook Series,' directed by John Znidarsic, Monday, May 24th at 6pm at the Bruno Walter Auditorium at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts. The concert, free to the general public, celebrates the work of up and coming composer and lyricist Tommy Newman.

The Bay Area Critics Circle nominations are in and TheatreWorks, the nationally-acclaimed theatre of Silicon Valley, received 21 nominations for the company's 2009 productions. This year's Critics Circle Awards, sponsored by Actor's Equity Association, today announced is nominees for excellence in San Francisco Bay area theater. Berkeley Rep's production of American Idiot, which played in the fall of 2009, leads with 12 nominations and will open on Broadway this spring.

This strictly limited engagement runs March 10-28 at American Theater of Actors (315 West 54th Street), former home of the Fringe-to-Off-Broadway transfer of Urinetown.
