After a successful year-long run in Hollywood, Calif., Worst Ever Productions presents its first installment of the cult-hit evening of comedy WORST AUDITION EVER in New York City at Joe's Pub - produced by Christine Lakin, Alec Ledd, Daniel A. Miles, and Corri English. The ticket proceeds from this performance of WORST AUDITON EVER will be donated to The Actors Fund. Artists participating include Tyler Maynard (Altar Boyz, Little Mermaid), Kevin Duda (The Book of Mormon, Les Liaisons Dangereuses), Jena Friedman (writer for Late Night With David Letterman), Jenna Leigh Green (Wicked, For the Record: Baz Luhrman), John West (The Drowsy Chaperone, Newsical the Musical) and Cheryl Stern (La Cage Aux Folles, Candide).

A LETTER TO HARVEY MILK, a new musical which was a finalist in this year's prestigious Richard Rodgers Awards for Musical Theater, is one of 10 musical plays being presented by the 2012 New York Musical Theatre Festival Next Link Project (NYMF), which starts on July 9th. A 25th anniversary production of the imaginative, fractured-fairy tale musical 'Into the Woods' by James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim will be staged at the theater where Sondheim was an apprentice in 1950, Westport Country Playhouse, in Westport, CT, through May 26. Directed by Mark Lamos, The Playhouse's artistic director, the musical will open the historic theater's 82nd season. It is co-produced with Baltimore's CENTERSTAGE.

The play, co-produced with the Westport Country Playhouse and directed by Mark Lamos, is beautifully staged as it trips lightly through a mix of classic stories before turning down a different and darker path.
Into the Woods began performances at The Pearlstone Theater on March 7, as a coproduction between Westport Country Playhouse and Baltimore Centerstage. Check out production shots below!
CENTERSTAGE and Westport Country Playhouse announced today casting for their co-production of Into the Woods, and Broadway fans will be excited to hear that the original Little Red Riding Hood, Danielle Ferland, is making her way back Into the Woods. The production is set to run March 7-April 15 at CENTERSTAGE before moving to Westport Country Playhouse in May. Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's beloved fairy tale musical will be directed by Westport Country Playhouse's Artistic Director Mark Lamos.
