In This Moment announced they will be hitting the road for their Blood 1983 tour with special guests Nothing More. Kicking off August 26 in Evansville, Indiana - the Blood 1983 tour has the group set to take over stages in major markets including Atlanta, Boston, Philadelphia, Cleveland, Los Angeles and Chicago from August through October 2022.

Jack White has announced a new series of North American dates for his ongoing Supply Chain Issues Tour. The shows begin August 20 at The Whiting in Flint, MI and then continue through late September. White will perform at a number of upcoming festivals, including Louisville, KY’s Bourbon & Beyond, Atlanta, GA’s Music Midtown, and more.

It's been one year since Bryson Battle took center stage as a winner of the 12th annual Jimmy Awards. As a participant from Charlotte, North Carolina's Blumey Awards, Battle took part in the first ever virtual presentation on July 15, 2021, and was awarded Best Performance by an Actor, along with a check for $25,000 to further his education. BroadwayWorld is checking in with Bryson to catch up on what he's been up to since his big win, as well as advice for this year's participants.

Casting was announced today (20 June 2022) for the smash-hit production of C.S. Lewis' classic The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, which will make its West End premiere this summer at the Gillian Lynne Theatre, Drury Lane, London.  The show, which begins rehearsals today, is produced by the same team that recently won 5 Tony Awards for its production of Company on Broadway.

New Mexico School for the Arts is no ordinary educational institution, and recently graduated senior Theo Kutsko is no ordinary student. Kutsko's ambitious and well executed senior project -- which has one more performance on Sunday, June 19th -- is a production of Falsettos, produced via Santa Fe Youth Collaborative Theatre.

This summer, Union Avenue Opera will make its highly anticipated return to its home stage within the historic Union Avenue Christian Church. Union Avenue Opera will offer a three-opera festival season opening with Tchaikovsky's masterpiece, Eugene Onegin (July 8, 9, 15, 16) which last appeared on the UAO stage in 2003.

Opening tonight at Darkhorse Theater in Nashville is That Woman – The Monologue Show, which explores the stories of women who involved or rumored-to-be involved with President John F. Kennedy. Co-written by Nashville-area women playwrights and actors, it is performed by a diverse ensemble of actors who bring the women to life “in a fascinating look at a lesser-known aspect of history and a thought-provoking and entertaining evening of theatre.”

The Jimmy Awards have just announced this year’s 92 nominees, coming from 46 high school musical theatre awards competitions across the U.S. The show will feature dynamic ensemble and solo performances and will culminate with the presentation of a Best Performance by an Actress and Best Performance by an Actor award, as well as other honors and scholarships. Winners will be chosen by a panel of industry experts.
