The thirteenth cast has been announced for Agatha Christie's Witness for the Prosecution at London County Hall, Plus the production will extend until 26 April 2026. The new cast will begin performances from 18 March this year.

Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre has released production photos for their production of Robin Hood: The Legend. Re-written. by former Kneehigh Co-Artistic Director Carl Grose (The Grinning Man, Dead Dog in a Suitcase). The production runs until 22 July.

Sex, gender identity, competition and friendship are all touched upon in Ella Road’s energetic new play Fair Play. In this intense two-hander, when Ann joins Sophie’s running club, the pair strike up a friendship amid the endurance of training, despite their very different backgrounds. As Ann overtakes Sophie, issues of their bodies, identities and gender become open to public opinion. Relationships fracture, attitudes are challenged and futures are altered forever.

Alice Sebold made a literary splash with her heart-rending 2002 novel The Lovely Bones. The story follows 14 year-old Susie Salmon, raped and murdered, who now views earth from her vantage point in heaven. Here she witnesses how her family, friends and her killer cope with her death and try to live life without her. Directed by the talented Melly Still, a breathtaking stage adaptation is now on a national tour.

Following a hugely successful run last autumn, Birmingham Repertory Theatre in association with Lee Dean present a tour of The Lovely Bones. Melly Still directs Catrin Aaron (Abigail Salmon), Radhika Aggarwal (Heavenly Girl 2), Fanta Barrie (Lindsay Salmon), Charlotte Beaumont (Susie Salmon), Samuel Gosrani (Ray/Holliday), Leah Haile (Heavenly Girl 1), Avita Jay (Franny/Ruana), Andrew Joshi (Heavenly Girl 3), Nicholas Khan (Mr Harvey), Leigh Lothian (Ruth Connors), Huw Parmenter (Sam/Len), Lynda Rooke (Lyn),  and Jack Sandle (Jack Salmon). The production opens at Birmingham Repertory Theatre on 10 September, with previews from 6 September, before embarking on a UK tour to Theatre Royal Nottingham, Exeter Northcott Theatre, Norwich Theatre Royal, The Lowry Salford, Rose Theatre Kingston, Hackney Empire, Cambridge Arts Theatre, Oxford Playhouse, Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, Guildford and Chichester Festival Theatre.

Kate Budgen's production of The Importance of Being Earnest at The Watermill Theatre is laugh-a-minute funny. The audience are chuckling out loud throughout and it's a lovely experience to be a part of that collective joy.

The Watermill Theatre announces the cast for Oscar Wilde's comic masterpiece THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST which runs at the theatre from Thursday 23 May to Saturday 29 June. Wilde's most enduring play in which Victorian hypocrisies are laid bare is directed by Kate Budgen who says:

The full cast and creative team have been confirmed for the world premiere of The Lovely Bones, one of the best-selling novels of the 21st century. Adapted for the stage by Bryony Lavery from Alice Sebold's story and directed by Melly Still, it will open at Royal & Derngate, Northampton on 1 September 2018 before transferring to partner theatres Everyman Liverpool, Northern Stage, Newcastle and Birmingham Repertory Theatre. The show will also tour to The New Wolsey Theatre, Ipswich.

Theatr Clwyd Artistic Director Tamara Harvey today announces full casting for the regional premiere of the hit Royal Court and West End comedy Jumpy by April De Angelis. Sara Stewart leads the company in the role of Hilary and is joined by Ciara Baxendale (Lyndsey), Charlotte Beaumont (Tilly), Steven Elliot (Roland), Laurie Kynaston (Josh), Charlotte Moore (Bea), Kerry Peers (Frances), Laurence Ubong Williams (Cam) and Philip Wright (Mark).
