Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) will soon present two-time Tony Award winner Sutton Foster in a Broadway production of Violet, directed by Leigh Silverman. Based on the short story 'The Ugliest Pilgrim' by Doris Betts, Violet features music by Jeanine Tesori and book & lyrics by Brian Crawley. Violet will be produced in association with Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino, David Mirvish, Barry and Fran Weissler, Elizabeth Armstrong, and Mary Jo and Ted Shen. 54 BELOW, Broadway's Supper Club, presents "Appalling Notions, Fully Realized: The Songs of Hollmann and Kotis" on February 5th, 2014, at 9:30P. Mark Hollmann and Greg Kotis, the Tony Award-winning songwriting team behind Urinetown (the musical), share songs and stories from past productions and future shows.

Sh-K-Boom has just announced that a cast album for Love's Labour's Los, which played at the Delacorte Theatre as a part of the 2013 Shakespeare in the Park season, is currently in the works. The cast is in the studio today, January 27, to record the album. A release date has not yet been announced.
