Moira Buffini's new play, HANDBAGGED, opened at the Tricycle Theatre this week. It stars Stella Gonet, Fenella Woolgar, Marion Bailey and Claire Holman, and runs thru 16 November.

Antony Sher as Sigmund Freud leads a cast of David Horovitch, Adrian Schiller and Lydia Wilson in Terry Johnson's Hysteria at the Hamstead Theatre, a hilarious and insightful farce that raises intriguing questions about freud's radical revision of his theories on hysteria. The production runs Thursday 5 September to Saturday 12 October 2013.

Center Theatre Group recently announced that Justin Bartha would be joining the cast of Neil Simon's 'The Sunshine Boys' at the Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre replacing the previously announced David Krumholtz who needed to leave the production for personal reasons.

Jerry Ruiz (Love Goes to Press, Basilica) directs a cast that includes Cliff Bemis, Teddy Bergman, Bernardo Cubria, Carole Healey, Christine Toy Johnson, Kathryn Kates (replacing the previously announced Jennifer Harmon), Natalie Kuhn, Brian MacDonald, Jennifer McVey and Rachel Moulton. Philip Goes Forth will have scenic design by Steven C. Kemp, costume design by Carisa Kelly, lighting design by Christian DeAngelis, and sound design by Toby Algya. Performances began on August 24th and continue through October 20th. Opening Night is set for tonight, September 22nd at Mint's home (311 West 43rd Street). Mark Rylance's Much Ado About Nothing starring James Earl Jones and Vanessa Redgrave opened at the Old Vic on 19 September 2013 and runs through 30 November.

Michael Grandage's West End staging of A Midsummer Night's Dream, starring Sheridan Smith and David Walliams, opened at the Noel Coward Theatre and is currently running through November 16, 2013.

Clive Exton's Barking in Essex opened at the Wyndham's Theatre on 16 September 2013. It stars Lee Evans, Sheila Hancock and Keeley Hawes, and runs until 4 January 2014.
